i am 13, 14 on friday; about 5 foot; i weigh 110. i know that i'm not fat, but i'm self consious about my thighs and also, i have a pocket of fat in my lower stomach area. i'm looking to lose 15 pounds. anyone have any diet/excercise plans?

Okay... Im 13, 14 on the 15th and I am 105 pounds. I feel self consious too. Im on a diet lol. I do these exercises.... Ill tell you the ones I do to stay fit and lose weight!

Well... what I do is I work out every day. I do exercises called plank,bicycle,and roll up for my abs and reverse lunge and pulsing squat for my thighs and butt. Dieting wont really work if you dont work out or exercise! Try running,or stairs. Oh and when or if you run make sure you go at a pace where you can still talk and run at the same time.

Plank: (arms abs and lower back)push up position,forearms on the ground,form a straight line from your shoulders to your heels. Abs pulled in and raise your right foot about 6 inches off the ground hold for 10 seconds and do the same to the left leg. Do this 3 times. (right left, right left, right left)
Bicycle: (abs and obliques) Lie down, hands behind head. COntract abs to bing head and neck off the floor. Begin cycling be extending your right leg as you bring your left knee and right elbow together. Do 20 reps (left knee and right knee = 1 rep)
Roll up: (upper and lower abs)Lie down with your knees bent. Feet flat on the ground and palms at your sides facing downwards. Go up into a sitting position (hands still out) Do 10 reps.

Reverse Lunge: (thighs and butt) Stand with feet shoulder width apart, arms at your sides and have a 3 pound weight or full 20 ounce bottle of water in each hand. Keep your back STRAIGHT! lol. Step back with your right foot about 3 feet and dip your right knee untill it an inch or 2 above the ground. Push off and get to starting position and the do it again. Do 3 sets of 15 reps (do 45 for each leg) and then switch (do 45 reps for the other leg too)
Pulsing Squat: (thighs and butt)Elbows bent, hands together (palms together) at chin level. Lower your butt as if you were about to sit in a chair to get into proper squat position. Pulse up and down using your butt and thigh muscles to raise your butt about 4 inches from the starting position (when you are about to sit in a chair). Do 3 sets of 15 reps.
Diet and exercise will help! As long as you feel the burn you ll do fine. Also try leg lifts. Look on the internet for more exercise tips! :) Hope I helped.


hey, well im thinking about starting to wear eyeliner. so i have a few questions about it. the first one is when you apply eyeliner do you apply it on both the top and the bottom? what looks btter? another question i have is when you apply eyeliner do you apply it above or below your eyelashes. also what color eyeliner is best? black or brown? last thing is should i use liquid eyeliner or the regular kind? thanks in advance.

The colour of the eye liner you use is based on the colour of your eye brows. If you have medium brown eye brows (like me) then you use a colour like chocolate or a colour that is a shade or 2 darker than your brows. Unless you want to look goth... then go with black (if your brows are lighter and you use black liner you look goth) oh and the first time I started wearing eye liner I went to a professional. The lady showed me what was bets for me and my eyes and bone structure and she showed me what to use and how to use it. I suggest going to a pro to see how its done lol. Hope I helped! :) Oh... liquid gives you a really straight line (if you can do it right) and I personally dont like it. Regular is best in my opinion. :)

Do you mean to get like cheekbones or something? Exercise and diet work (it did for my friend) and she now has cheekbones and her face isnt as fat as it used to be. Also it depends on the bone structure of your face. No matter how much you exercise and diet your face might not change almost at all because your bones and bone structure are that way. Make up can also camaflouge a wideer face a bit. I heard sucking your cheeks in and then applying blush makes it appear as if you have cheek bones (I m not sre if that works though) Hope I helped! :)

My hair is thin so what I do is take a thin piece of hair, put hairspary on the top and bottom, then curl it (hold for a little while) and the put hairspray again on the curl. Then when I finish my whole head I spray one more time for luck! lol. Oh and try to start the curl at the top of your head. Do the same thing you would as you start from the bottom but start from the top (if that makes sense). Go to a salon and get them to do it for you once... see how they do it and dont be afraid to ask questions. :)


im really busy and typically have to clean my room alot.... i need some advice on how to keep it clean so it doesnt end up getting soo messy in the first place... any advice... also the same goes for my closet and bathroom (link)
Well... first throw out all the stuff you dont need. That eliminates junk. Or just get storage boxes and put all the stuff you dont need in the and the put it in the basement! Just dont keep everything you have. Get rid of the stuff! It just causes a mess. Dust, vaccuum, and open the window for fresh air and thats about it. WHen you finish cleaning make sure that it doesnt get messy again. Throw out things that you dont want or need to prevent a mess again. :)

I forget what its called but its vichy I think and it has spa water in it. It comes from France and the water (spa water) they put in it takes 40 years to make because it get all the minerals and nutrients from the stream it flows in. It natural I think too so It good. If you go to a drug store and ask if they have spa water creams and self tanners and stuff (i think its vichy Im not sure) theyll probably have it.


14/f I weigh 142 pounds. I really need to burn the fat from my buttocks and my stomach. Maybe my thighs to? Is there anything besides situps and workouts that can help? I get so bored that I give up, even if I do listen to music or something. I want a flat stomach and a butt that isn't all flab. Are there any scientific treatments that are a reasonable price & can be used from a girl my age? Plus, dieting doesn't work. I've dieted all summer and seem no results. Whenever i shave the hair starts growing back in about 6 hours aaaand you can feel it and its gross! How can i make it not come back and how do you keep a tan? Does shaving cause it to go away faster? thanks

Well... waxing is better lol. It lasts longer and it pulls the root out. Or if you want permanent results just get your legs lasered. It costs a lot but it gets rid of the dark hairs and leaves the really lights ones you cant see. Well.... when I wax my leg the tan I got fades a little but then I just go swimming and stuff like that and then I comes back lol. Hope I helped! :)

I have never been raped but I was wondering if your parents know about this. Maybe you should go to a therapist for help because this is really bad. (sorry lol) I think that if you went ot a therapist it would help you a lot and you could move on with your life and you could try to forget about it and see that it wasnt your fault and stuff like that. I think you need professional help :). I hope that you feel better.

Yeah I do my own eye brows. Im 13 (14 on august 15th) and im on vacation in europe (at my grandparents house)and my mom tought me when I was in grade 6 so Ive been doing it since then. Plucking is easier for me because you just see one and pluck it. But with waxing you take all the hair off in the area and the brow area gets more hairy and weird. (i live in canada so grade 6 is like junior high or something in the states). If you re stil wondering about your arm pits let me know. :) Happy to help. Its easier online because you dont see the person and you donr know them lol. :)

Haha this is a very strange question but I tend to get hard nipples (when it's cold.. etc) and they show through my shirts. I have tried padded bras (they don't help much) and duct tape (doesn't work at all). It is also quite embarassing if I am wearing a swimsuit and they show through.

How can I stop them from showing.. I don't mind if it is uncomfortable but I do not like having to put on more shirts since it can usually even show through hoodies and what not.

I heard that circle band aids cover it a little... try lot of things like circle band airds, duct tape and jujst stuf that might camaflouge them lol. :)


my friends are soo mean to people. like, there mean to like people in our group too! who they call their best friends. Like, ok.. we are the popular group in school, i go to a catholic school, so its small. so yeah, were the popular ones, & so like nobody likes the 2 of them. They like think there all great bc they belong to a country club, & have a big house. But, i have just as big of a house & belong to a country club, & i dont act like them at all. they get mad, if like me & my best friend, dont invite them to the mall. like they always cause drama, & basically me & my friends are sick of them.. how do we get rid of them? .. it will be our last year at our school, so we dont want them to ruin it. I went through sorta the same thing. I was "friends" with the most popular girls in school. They talked behind be back all the time and made fun of me as much as the could. I used to ignore it but then I look at myself and started to believe everything they said. Soon i was crying every night saying I was ugly and fat and all these things. They made a big scene if I didnt talk to them at lunch or something but the talking behind my back and stuf was like no big deal. So now... because i listened my self esteem is like crushed... someone says you re pretty Ill be like WHAT?!?!? I am soo shy but before I was confident and could get up infront of the class all the time. Just slowly ignore them and exclude them. If they ask just say no... im not... we dont have to spend every sigle minute of the day together. I have other friends too. and ask your parents too... they can help.

okay... for your eye brows.... where the corner of your eye begins (nearest to you nose) draw an immaginary straight line. That line is where you brows begin. then where the corner of your eye ends (other corner of the same eye) draw another immaginary straight line but going in an angle, not completely vertical more of an angle going out towards your hair. that is where the brow ends. (take the pointy part of the pluker and just push the hairs that you dont want out of the area... its like drawing)leave the line of your brow alone. just pluck the hairs below or close to the line of the brow. As for your arm pits just get your mom to wax them because shaving them makes the pit get all black and waxing lasts longer.Oh,.... on most waxing kits there are sections where is says how to do and there is almost always a spot where it explains how to do your arm pits.
