eyeliner
hey, well im thinking about starting to wear eyeliner. so i have a few questions about it. the first one is when you apply eyeliner do you apply it on both the top and the bottom? what looks btter? another question i have is when you apply eyeliner do you apply it above or below your eyelashes. also what color eyeliner is best? black or brown? last thing is should i use liquid eyeliner or the regular kind? thanks in advance.

The colour of the eye liner you use is based on the colour of your eye brows. If you have medium brown eye brows (like me) then you use a colour like chocolate or a colour that is a shade or 2 darker than your brows. Unless you want to look goth... then go with black (if your brows are lighter and you use black liner you look goth) oh and the first time I started wearing eye liner I went to a professional. The lady showed me what was bets for me and my eyes and bone structure and she showed me what to use and how to use it. I suggest going to a pro to see how its done lol. Hope I helped! :) Oh... liquid gives you a really straight line (if you can do it right) and I personally dont like it. Regular is best in my opinion. :)

Ugh.. I LoVe Eyeliner, lol.. You can put it on your top, or bottom, or both, it just depends on what you like, .. you can put it on the inside rim thing of your bottom eyelid. I use black eyeliner, but that's just me.. use whatever you think looks good on you. And I use both pencil eyeliner, and liquid. I line out with the pencil, and then I go over it with liquid eyeliner.. it kinda makes it stand out more for me. But some liquid eyeliners can be messy, and smear, so be careful!

So i'll tell you how I wear mine.
I use black and I put it on the inside of my eye and on the lashline, and I do it the whole bottom and then close my eye and go over the top and make them connect and both corners
and sometimes give myself that 'cat' eye, where you put a little eyeliner going diagonal towards your brow.

when i first started wearing eyeliner i just did a little on my top (meaning half way to the ends.. but that depends on your eyes) i didnt do the bottom too becasue i thought that looked like too drastic of a change and didnt like the way it looked at first, you put it about your eyelashes, color... it depends on you eye/hair colr/ skin tone.... but typically i use brown almost all the time (i have blue eyes and blonde hair) and at night or at a party i used black... i really like clinique liquid eyeliner i used that for a long time.. but then i fell in love with teddy by mac..... also sometimes i put a darker brown on the top and lighter on the bottom... sorry this answer is sooo long... but when i put it on i get a smidge thicker as i go out to the ends of my eyes on the top and go a liiiittle past the corner.. then on the bottom (i go below the lashes on the bottom fyi) i connect it to the corner and go about half way... you dont want a really distinct line... and the sharper the pencil the better

well i would only put it on the bottom because its kind of a waist of time to put it on the top because it looks just as good on the bottom as it does on both.okay you put it rite on the eyeliner or if you can above it.black is so much better because it brings out the color in the eyes.sence you are a beginner you should use a pencil because it takes alot of concentracion to use the liquid because it smuges very easily!but its kinda weird because my first time i used liquid and it smuged the first time but i learned very quickly but liquid does get into the eye easier but its doesnt bother me one bit.in my opinion i think smaller lines are cuter and not thick ones(you no when you apply).well hope this helps.and good luck.TWEETY

1. Personally, I apply eyeliner only on the bottom eyelid. However, it looks different depending on the shape of your eye.
2. I would suggest your apply it above your eyelashes. But be careful you don't poke yourself in the eye! It takes practice.
3. The color of the eyeliner all depends on what you look like. But, if you're going for a more natural look, then go for brown. However, I use black eyeliner because it looks better on me.
4. I would HIGHLY suggest you use pencil eyeliner. Liquid eyeliner is very messy and it takes LOTS of practice.

i suggest for the color part of it using almay's true match eyeliner(it has different colors for what matches different color eyes). I use it and its works wonderfully and really brings out your eye color.

Applying eyeliner for the first time is pretty difficult. When I started to apply eyeliner it took me awhile to get it on correctly. So don't worry if it doesn't look so-right when you first apply it on.. just as a note.
Some stylists recommend doing it on the top and bottom of the eye; most stylists prefer that wearing it on the bottom would be much neater. If wanting to put it on the top or bottom, use light colored eyeliner, like neon greens, pinks, or blues, And a little glitter would be nice.
To make it look simple yet cute, do it on the bottom of the eye. If you want it to bring out your eyes, use dark colors, especially black. Brown if you wish. Most people would want that "punk" or "classic" look so they use the simple black eyeliner.
Now to apply it on: Use an easy-glide eyeliner pencil. Gently and slowly, mark the bottom of your eyes right above your bottom eyelashes, just like as if you were using a crayon. Don't apply too much, or it can easily smear overtime. For beginner, I much prefer the simple eyeliner pencil, so it would be easy for you. But after awhile once you get used to that, take it up a notch. Use the liquid eyeliner. Do the same as before, but you got to be extremely careful. If you accidentaly get a little in your eyes, it can cause some irritation. The great advantage to this however, is it's hard to smear liquid eyeliner, since it dries up and actually lasts much longer than a pencil.
Most are even water-proof, so going for a swim won't harm it over a short period of time. Yet sometimes it can be tricky to get if off. Just using makeup remover will do the trick.

you can apply in on the top and bottom but its more easier on the bottom and harder on the top and both look good but i think the bottom looks better. for your bottom you appyly it above your eyelashes and same goes for you top.black is better. and you should just use the rgular kinda the liguid kinda gets messy and since your just sarting too the liguid kinda might hurt your eyes.hope i helped rate me thanx.

well i prefer the color black but depending on your eye color and brown looks pretty good. (mainly on people with brown eyes or green eyes). you can apply it to the top and bottom. whichever you prefer. i like to do the bottom only though. and regular is usally what i and most people i know use but if you have troblue appliying it(such as cant stop blinking or watering eyes) then liquid is good too. tell me is you have any more questions<3! hope i helped!

I use liquid eyeliner on my eye lids. Not TOO thick..
and pencil on bottom under the lashes. Depends what your style is and how you like it.

I use black eyeliner.i tried brown and it made me look dead.I ware it both top and bottom.i also put it right where my eyelashes are on the bottom,on the top i put it write above the eyelashes.But don't put it all the way from one end of your eye to the next because then you look goth.

if you apply it above your lashes it will make your eyes appear smaller and if you apply it under your lashes it will make your eyes appear bigger.I like black eyeliner more because it sorta draws your eyes more.Liquid eyeliner is nice but if you tear up or cry itll mess up your face so i prefer the pencil eyeliner.You can apply it on the top and bottom if you want....see what looks better on YOU.

Well first of all...i prefer black. I think it brings out your eyes more and it will stay on better if you put it on top and bottom. You should put it above you lower lashed and under your upper ones because otherwise when you blink it will come off onto the ledges do just load both of them up. You should use regular eyeliner, preferably the twist kind but only use liquid eyeliner above you upper lashes ONLY and you add more above and below depending on how noticable you want them to be. but either way works.I personally like bottom better,below the eye lashes and the color
black looks so much better.
