I just use proactiv every day as like a face cleanser and it keeps me from getting pimples. It works soo well!! The only problem is that it can be sort of expensive. If you're not wanting to spend alot on it, then i would suggest getting like a clean and clear face wash, a toner, and a moisturizer. That's what proactiv's set is. It will keep ur face clean and clear of acne, but it wont cost so much. The combination of those three keeps ur skin looking healthy and clear. Also, you should use a mask like once a week. shannonbond answered Sunday July 30 2006, 7:01 pm: My brother got Differin from his dermatologist, and it works wonders. You can get it basically anywhere for under 7 dollars. It's as good as ProActiv, which the lowest I've seen to buy for is 20 dollars. But both are so good. :] [ shannonbond's advice column | Ask shannonbond A Question ]

LM answered Sunday July 30 2006, 5:51 pm: Clean and Clear Advantage is a great spot treatment. It seriously works in a day- within a couple hours, it'll start to dry up zits and make them a LOT less noticeable. If you get a REALLY red blemish, try putting a little Visine on it. Sounds crazy, I know. But just like it does for eyeballs, it makes acne less red too!
Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash is an effective, gentle cleanser. Another good cleanser is St. Ives Apricot cream cleanser. Neutrogena has another product, called Clear Pore cleanser/mask. It works well, but I don't recommend it if you have super-sensitive skin, because a lot of people are allergic to benzoyl peroxide. It's worth a try, though, if salicylic acid doesn't work for you.
Lastly, if you ever do develop moderare to severe acne, ask your doctor to refer you to a dermatologist. You'll only need two or three vists tops, and they can give you antibiotics and treatments like Retin-A that work better than ones you can buy at a drugstore.

They have a whole line so you can decide what you need for your skin type. Also try St. Ives Apricot Scrub for Oily or Acne Prone Skin. Its awesome. I use it everyday and it helps keep my skin clean.
