period

Question Posted Sunday March 18 2007, 6:12 pm

okay. well all my friends have really cute underwear and i don't! i buy only black cause i'm so scared that i'll get my period and then i'll have to throw that underwear i away...

well, i was just wondering, how do you know when youre gonna get your period so you can put on black underwear like the day before? my doctor told me you can find out if you press the center of your nipple. if it's sensitive, you are either getting your period or you have it. so i've been doing that, but sometimes i'm like a day off and then i have throw my underwear out again!

so my question is... how can i wear cute underwear without risking that it's gonna get stained? ANY advice i'll take! and i'm not a mean rater either so if you don't really know i'll give you a five anyway

ususally your period comes about 28 days after your last one. so mark it on the calendar.
also once you know you are getting close try putting a panty liner in so that way it prevents stains from getting on your good underwear. you can also talk to a gynocologist about going on birth control to help you get regulated.

once you've had your period for a couple of monthes you start to notice like these "signs" of your body telling you that you are about to get your period. some people's breasts get sensitive, some people get lightheaded or get headaches, and as for me i get cramps.

but if you don't experience anything like this then what you can do is just wear your cute underwear, and if you happen to get it stained just put some detergent on it, rub it in, and then wash it.

if you keep track of your period like on a calendar or if you know when you get your period like usually the middle of the month then on the week of your period schedule or before that just wear pantie liners..you know you don't have to throw away your underwear when you have a stain. if its light then just hand wash it with soap and water then throw it in the washing machine..
