Hey everyone, my name is Kristin, there's a picture of me on my advice column.. I'm a senior in high school and im 18 years olds.. I know I'm pretty young, but I've been through more than anyone would imagine and I've been through things most teenage girls haven't experienced yet in life. Here's a few things about myself, I've gone through a very serious one year relationship that ended a long long time ago, my parents have been divored for about 6 years, I cheerlead for my high school, I do ballet and have been playing the piano since I was seven, I work at a nearby UPS Store, and I am a dedicated Greek-Orthodox Christian. I hope to get accepted into Cal Poly San Louis Obispo and major in Nutrition..I love to hear about other peoples issues and problems so I could help them deal with it by relating them to my own experiences. i know its easier said than done, but for sure say ur not ready..thats all u should have to say. thisll be kinda like a test for u to see if he really cares bout u. if he stays and waits however long u wanna wait, then hes a keeper, but if he eventually breaks up with u because u dont wanna have sex, then hes a LOOSER and u shouldnt be with his ass...good luck.

i have recently been going out wit this guy i am totally in love with. he has cheated on me b4 but that was after i broke up with him. The first time we started going out everything was perfect and he told me he loved me and you could really tell he meant it. But we got in a huge arguement and he called me a bitch so i dumped him. Ok here is what happened. The other nite when we were @ my friends house we all decided to play truth or dare. I was dared to make out w/ my best guy friend. We decided we would do it since it was just a dare and didn't mean anything. It turned out to be different than I expected. My friend got a little carried away and was really into it. I mean he was like passionate about it! Soo i dont know what to do cause everytime I'm hanging around him I feel funny cause of us hooking up or whatever. thanks for coming to me about ur question..thats happened to me be4, and trust me i know how it feels!! its kinda akward and its uncomfortable. u dont like him more than a friend right? cause thats sorta a different story. but for now, it will get alot easier and back to normal. its only been acouple nights since it happened. itll be uncomfortable for alil while longer but then itll get back to normal. dont say nething about it orelse itll make it seem like u took the kiss to heart and now u have a thing for him. so dont say nething more about it. just let things go and wait acouple more days/even weeks and itll be back to normal.

i totally know what ur going thru. DONT U HATE IT?! its like just shuttupppp already damn. but the thing is, he keeps fighting with u, meaning that ur being weak, and LETTING him fight with you. u may not see it, but even if u agrue back, that basically invites him to agrue even more. on the other hand, are u sure he isnt fighting about something worth fighting over? are u doing something thats bad for the relationship, etcetc..but if its the other case, be STRONG, dont fight back, just tell him this, [exact words]say, "CALL ME WHEN UR NOT GOING TO ARGUE, BUT TALK ABOUT IT IN A CALM WAY" and every time u guys fight, thats what u tell him and just hang up on him and DONT call him back until he calls u in a calm manner.

to be honest, SO many ppl have online relationshipz. take my sister who is now 19 and in college. when she was 17, she had her first "real" relationship that lasted one year. how did she meet him? ONLINE, he even moved from i think New Jersey or somewhere to live closer to her. sO i definetly think its possible and not too weird, it just depends on each situation i guess..juss always be careful.

Hey, (14/f) I am friends with my exboyfriend. We talk a lot, and are pretty close. I am going to a different school this year so it's going to be really hard to see him and talk to him, but i really value our friendship. Whenever we talk though he alwayse brings up other girls, and how hott they all are. I know that I shouldn't get jelous since we are just friends now, but i do. So I can't deside weather he is making me feel jelous so i dont forget him, or if he is just talkin to me like a close friend.

ok well i think the thing with me adn broc is over just bc we havnt talked in a long time and it seems like hes not makin and effort. idk if its bc hes scared or busy or wut. its confusin cuz his best friend always says that broc likes me but it doesnt seem like it. but i met this guy mark and hes soo sweet we met in drivers ed. and like yesterday he texted me and said he would call me last nite ( that was like at 1) so at 10 i was like omg hes not gonna call but then he texted me again and was like dont worry i didnt forget about u ill call u at 11. so at 11 (exactly) he called and we talked for 2 hours and it was soo awesome. hes sucha great guy. hes leavin for big bear today for a week but he said when he gets back that were gonna go see a movie. do u think im doin the rite thing by lettin go of the broc thing and going for mark.???? like mark gives me alot of attention but broc doesnt... ya u know.. I need help..fast. My dad told me last night that he hates me and he doesnt care if he ever sees me again..but then now my parents wont let me go anywhere! I want to go with my aunt for a couple days because she invited me there so I could get out of here. But they just wont let me leave! I am 18/f...and i have been really confused lately about my ex boyfriend (which is still my best friend). We were best friends for 5 years before we started dating..and we were on and off for about a year and a half. He was my first serious relationship. I am very much in love with him but we had to break up because he moved 2 hours away for college. We both still have feelings for each other and we agreed that when we are located closer together again we will probably get back together. My problem is that he is looking to date other people, and he thinks i should do the same, but i just cant get him out of the picture and i dont want him out of the picture. He is the only person i really want to be with. How am i supposed to handle this? I cant like other people when i am still in love with him, and i know i am just going to be extremely jealous when he starts dating if i dont have any one. yeah..that's really hard, i know how u feel..its gunna take u SO SO long to get over tha fact that u 2 arent only seeing eachother. but ur going to get over it, u WILL get over it, u wont get over him, but u will get over that fact...its going to be hard dating other ppl cause ur always going to compare them to ur ex bf..but if i were u, even if he is still dating other ppl, id wait acouple months, unless some1 asks u to go on a date, id wait awhile be4 dating, just to settle ur feelings in ur heart...

honestly, i think it depends on how old u are. alota ppl give me shit for saying that age makes a huge difference on what ur perception of love is. but really, if u are in middleschool/ beginning of high school, i really dont think that within a month u could fall IN love..maybe u could LOVE that person, but theres a big difference from being in love and loving a person. it also depends on if uve ever been in a relationship be4. if this if ur first "real" one sometimes in our first relationships we THINk we are inlove becaue tha feeling is so new and fresh, but really its not, its just something kinda special..thats my honest thought of ur question...

ok so there's this guy who is a friend of my family and he comes to all our parties and holidays and stuff. last year he came on vacation with us and we hit it off and became really great friends. we started dating on valentines day and he was always so sweet and affectionate and caring. we talked online every day for hours and everytime i came home from school on weekends we hung out. it was hard for us since i was away at college but he always said things would be so much better when i graduated (in may). then all of a sudden he started acting distant and we stopped talking as much. he has a really stressful job so i believed him when he said he was just really busy. but now that i'm home he like NEVER talks to me and i dont understand what happened! but when i see him he acts like normal again and every once in a while he'll call me or something. its so weird. if it was any other guy i'd be like forget him...but i know we'll be seeing each other at family stuff anyway and i dont understand why he would want to throw away our friendship and everything! does anyone have any insight as to what i should do or what this means? should i tell him he's hurting me or just wait till he comes around again? hm. weird. but honestly it doesnt sound too suprising. guys are like that, im sure u know since ur already almost done with college. guys like challenges and want what they cant have. maybe he got bored with ur relationship/friendship? did u always act like u REALLY liked him or did u kinda play hard to get? if u acted like u really really liked him, maybe it scared him off. if i were u, id wait maybe acouple more days then definetly talk to him about it, wait until hes not busy, etc and tell him exactly how u feel and tell him u want a straight answer and ull except it no matter what.

ur ex bf doesnt nessesarily likes u, he just misses tha attention. he saw that u have some1 new and ur not into him nemore. guys want what they cant have. they like challenges, and right now u seem like a challenge to him. dont fall into it tho, cause once ur back with ur ex, he'll dump u again, not rightaway but he will get bored, trust me. stay with ur bf!!!
