I am twenty-one, soon to be twenty-two, and currently work in a loan servicing department. I truly enjoy my job, as well as college, in which I am reaching my last year to receive my degree. Lets say you post questions on this site and you get the answers you love, however, a family member reads the advice and disagrees with what was written but you love the advice would you just ignore your family member and go by the answers you received on this site. Thanks. (link)

I think this really depends on whether or not, the advice you're reading is only what you want to hear or if it is true and the best advice for you, too. If it meets both of these, I say go for it. I mean, it happens to all of us, not necessarily on Advicenators, but in general that our families do not always agree with what we want to do, or someone else's advice or suggestions. I think you have to do what's right for you, and what makes you feel more comfortable.

I met this nice guy at work. I'm 23 he's 26... but I don't think thats a big deal. I just said hi to him one day and we got to chatting. He hangs around to talk to me for a few minutes here and there after his shift is over and we do talk on the phone. We did go out to the movies one day and ended up kissing. I told him that I liked him and all he said was "I didn't know you liked me " I felt awkward but neither of us brought it up again. I'm not really quite sure what to do (link)

The best advice I can give you is to talk to him, face-to-face and alone. And tell him how you feel, and explain to him that you may want to be more than friends. Ask him how he feels, and if he wants to take the relationship further. It's one sure way to know how he feels, and if your relationship will escelate or stay the same. Good luck!

So im the type that always gives all my friends advice and now im the one in need.
My boyfriend and I had a fight 2 days ago.

In all fairness, he did email and say he's sorry and he loves you. However, I do believe this is done at it's best face-to-face. But I highly doubt that you've lost him, I don't think you have to worry about that. If you want to be with him, then I would accept his apology. And if what he did, happens again, I would probably move on. Depending on what he's done and how bad it really is.

The one I have currently was given to me by a friend, and it's getting dull so I need to buy a new one but I have no idea which brand I should get. Note, I'm a female and I shave my leg hair and armpit hair. Are there any razors that are suitable for both?

Hi, Firefox you have nothing to worry about, because it's not a virus and completely working correctly. However, seeing Myspace private profiles will not work. It will not let you hack into any private profiles, and I agree with the person below me -- you are bound to find a
virus(s) by continuing looking for something to see Myspace private profiles. So I definitely don't recommend doing that, not only for the privacy of others, but for you computer's health as well.

So when my parents split up i lived with my mom up until last year. I havent talked to my mom barely since that but my dad is an asshole ALL the time. I dont know... i really want to move back with my mom.. if i knew that she would still let me see my boyfriend and i would still be able to go out. But i dont wanna to move in with her and find out that shes gonna be a bitch and not let me see my boyfriend and not let me go out with my friends at all. I think you should talk with your mom about this, and let her know how you're feeling. I'm sure she would understand, and let you live with her. As a mother, she probably wants you to come and live with her, anyway. So I don't really think she would tell you that you couldn't live with her. However, you do risk not being able to see your boyfriend and friends, if you think she would do that. I think you have to find what's more important, which living arrangement is really best for you, and questions like these.
I don't know what your dad is doing or saying, but if you believe it's bad enough to leave, then I'm assuming it can't be good. So I definitely recommend calling or going to see your mother, and explain to her what's going on. And see if you can live with her, or what can be worked out for you.

Yes, you can go to "Column Settings" and you should see mostly black, pink, default yellow, etc. Choose the one you would like, and it will change the colors on your page.

Hi, don't worry, it isn't weird to or not to shave. It's whatever makes you feel more comfortable. Personally, I do not recommend it. You get rashs, bumps, irritation and can very easily get cut. And that would hurt very badly. However, as I mentioned, you should do whatever makes you feel comfortable, not your boyfriend.

No, this is definitely not recommended. She should at least be eighteen-years-old. Here's a statement from Slim Fast: "We do not recommend the Slim·Fast Plan for weight loss for anyone under 18 years of age. Ok! So my friend liked this guy(let's call him Edward)first. She liked him first and EDWARD asked her out first, but she didn't say anything because she didn't like him. I think you should talk to your friend about this, and explain to her how you feel. That you really like this guy, and listen to what she has to say. Then, I would take it from there. Depending if you still want to be friends with her or not. My advice to you is to do whatever you feel most comfortable with, and makes you happy.

She did say she "used" to do these things. However, I would talk to her about how you feel. And see what she has to say, and if she's going to pressure you.
A lot of my friends drink and do things I would never do, but they don't pressure me or even talk about things like that around me because they know I don't do them. I've talked to them about it, and they are good enough friends not to even try to pressure me into something.
So I think you should give her the benifit of the doubt, and talk to her about this. Good luck, I'm sure everything will work out for you!

Yes, this is completely normal. Every girl has hair, you just may not know it. Being as some shave or wax, or just hide it. So you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Only if it is bothering you as far as confidence, should you shave or wax it. You should do whatever makes you feel comfortable.

Bumps around the vulva are very common. There are a number of explanations for them--some medically serious and some not.
Dr. Karen Rosewater, a doctor of adolescent medicine, says that the pimples may be caused by irritation around the area, often caused by wearing clothing that is too tight or underwear made out of synthetic material. If this is the case, try to keep the area dry. Consider wearing cotton underwear, or, at the least, underwear with a cotton crotch, as well as looser fitting clothing.
However, if you are sexually active, the bumps may indicate something more serious, like the presence of a sexually-transmitted disease (or STD). Genital warts, according to Dr. Rosewater, are often mistaken for pimples. They are quite common and tend not to be painful. Herpes, on the other hand, usually manifests first as pimple-like bumps, and then turns into ulcers, which can hurt. Both genital warts and herpes can be treated. Though there is no known cure for herpes, a doctor would be able to help you manage your condition.
The pimples you've found may very well turn out to be a rash, but since you are experiencing something new, it's a good idea to see a doctor. If you are sexually active, I would suggest abstaining from sex or using a condom until a doctor has diagnosed the problem. Better to be on the safe side."
