14/f (please read whole thing)
So I've lost about 32 pounds of my weight, and now I'm 155(i'm 5'2 and a quarter"), my goal is 137 (18 pounds left), and I'm doing really well this is what I do:

I normally consume around 1200-1350(or 1500) cals per day, but sometimes i take it up to about 1800 if i'm pmsing or something. I also work out whenever I can, i run a mile(and walk until it adds up to 20 mins) and i do the stairclimber for 20 mins and sometimes i'll add 20 mins of elliptical in, and then i just do random conditioning on the machines (about 20 reps of each)... and i do that on the days i don't have dance classes (and my dance classes don't start again until 3 more weeks so i'll probably be doing this every day or about 4 times per week)

Normally I've been able to lose a pound or two a day (i weigh myself first thing in the morning)

and I want to know how long you think it will take me to lose the rest of the 18 pounds...
(after i lose that i'll see how i look at 137 then i'll decide if i want to take it down to 115-130)
since I don't have a definate calorie deficit because it varies so much.

its good that you're consuming different calorie totals per day. i heard its good for your metabolism. its good because you're body won't get used to the same thing every day.
loosing 18bls could come fast or come slow. it depends. at soem point, you will reach a stage when you don't loose any weight at all. at that point is when you just need to continue what you're doing, and then you'll start loosing weight again.
the calorie intake also depends on what you're eating. but it seems that whatever you're doing is working fine.
your healthy weight range for your height is 110-125lbs, according to your BMI, at least. To get an exact answer on how healthy your weight is, ask your doctor to help you.

okay im 14 and im about 5' 2'' and 97 lbs. these guys at school keep calling me anorexic and i want to take it as a compliment but its getting annoying because they always shove food at my table at lunch. i usually dont eat at lunch because im not hungry. (we have lunch early and i eat breakfast) what can i do to make them stop?

well, technically, you are underweight. someone your height should be 110lbs, at least.
if people are shoving food at your table and calling you anerexic, they probably think you look unhealthy. so as the others say, don't take being anerexic as a compliment.
Eat a smaller breakfast, bigger lunch, and then eat a good sized amount for dinner.

I'm on the slim4life diet and have been for about a month. I keep cheating. It's making the weight loss slow down. I don't tell anyone I do but I am and I feel like I can't help it. Iv'e gotten a little better on self control but it's hard not to cheat. especally being a teenager and all my friends eat food like I want but can't have. I'm really trying my hardest not to cheat. Anyone have tips to stop eating off plan foods?

well, maybe you just need a diet that works for you. not just a diet that is there. Thats not usually the key to weight-loss.
I'm on a low-calorie diet and working out. When I eat Junkfood, I don't beat myself up for it.

I'm talking about the home version game Dance Dance Revolution Extreme 2. I know that it is a great way to exercise because you are definitely moving a lot. Now, on the workout program, you input your weight, dance to a song, and then they tell you about how many kCals you burned. Now, here is my question: If I eat popcorn and consume 200 calories, then go burn 200 kCals on DDR, did I burn off that popcorn? Now I know that its just an estimate but roughly, is that about correct? Or is kCal a different amount than Calories? I tried to look it up on google but I didn't understand anything.

i just looked it up myself and it seem slike kcals and calories are the same thing.. according to Google, at least.
yes, you probably did burn off that popcorn.

working out for a half n hour a day and getting your heart pumping for that half hour straight, you're in good hands.

okay to start out im 14. im about 5' 2'' and 97 lbs. i have been working out a lot lately...i have swim practice 6 days a week, i run 2.5 miles every other day, and i bike ride about 3 miles every sunday. i have been doing this for about 2 and a half weeks now and i havent lost any weight at all..will i ever?

no if anything, you need to gain weight.
97lbs for someone your height isn't that great.
healthy weight = 110lbs.

i've been talking to a boy for about 3 months now and im absolutely head over heals for him. hes also friends with one of my friends jessica. and the other night they hung out cuz theyre like best friends too and they went to the drive ins together. he told me that he was starting to like her. then she left him a myspace comment saying ohh i had so much fun with you holding your hand and licking your face and thanks for the foot massage.. and i dont wanna end things with him cuz when i aid i think we should be done he told me he loved me. and i dont know if i should stay with him knowing he likes another girl or if i should just end it now before i get even more hurt. =( what am i supposed to do?

Get his side of the story.
That girl who left him the comment, could've just been saying that as an inside-joke sort of thing.
What I would do, is go to him and tell him that its either you or her. and you're not going to be hanging around to get hurt.

well im a guy-15 years old. i want to keep my hair medium/long length, and if i try to put wax in it, it just falls. its really limp, and doesnt stay up, whatever i use. what can i do? thanks.

to add on to Juelz advice about the Got 2 be Glued stuff, I would get the shampoo they have as well, because like they said, it is water-resistant and it doesn't come out all the time with the regular stuff.

What is the best diet that actually works?

THere's a lot of diets out there that "work". it depends on how much effort you put into it and how much weight you want to loose. to name a few there's:
- Special K Diet (once again, this diet depends on how much weight you want to loose)
- *Atkins Diet
- *South Beach Diet
- *The Diet : For Teenagers Only (works best if you're a teenager, i tried it for awhile.)
- Healthy Eating in General.
- The Vegetarian Diet.
- The Rice Diet (this is the type of diet for people who want to loose more than 50lbs.
- ~Jenny Craig
- ~WeightWatchers


Key:
* = you need to buy the book that tells you the foods you can eat, etc.
~ = you have to be 18 or older. WeightWatchers you have to get a doctor recomendation to attend the meetings, not sure about Jenny Craig.

there has to be a catch to vitamin water it cant be thatt good for you , so is there anything wrong with it?

i heard people say theres bad facts about it but i dont know them , do you?

they basically say "vitamin water" to throw you off course.
its just like an energy drink. you should only drink it if you're running track, soccer, or anything that really gets your body pumping. it has extra sugars and sodium you don't need if you're not working out.

eating less than 1200 calories per day is considered anorexia.
like the person below me said, it also depends on if you're trying to loose weight and obsessive over it or if its just a habbit.

a friend told me that one hour of dancing = three hours of jogging.

Say you have a daily caloric limit of 1500, but you go maybe about 400-600 over for a few days. Will it make a difference whether or not you're eating healthy food? Like if I ate 800 calories in bananas would that make the scale go up as much as it would if I ate 800 (or more) calories of chocolate or cake or something?

bananas are good, but their not the greatest thing ot over-eat on. neither is chocolate.
if you take in 800 calories on just one food, maybe you should start to think: "hey, i can eat a whole sandwhich with this, that can fill me up longer."

i would think that the scale wouldn't go up as much if you only do it for a day or two, because it takes awhile for it to store to fat. working out after could help.

workout 3-5 times per week for at least an hour.

and check out seventeen.com to find out your healthy weight, how many calories are in what you normally eat, and meal plans for your day.

eat 5 times per day. (3 of them actual meals), and 2 snacks (perferably fruits and veggies).
cut out soda and replace with water or 100% fruit juices. when drinking oj, try putting half water, half orange juice in the cup for less calories.

your calorie intake should be 1500-2000 calories per day depending on your height.

working out is pretty easy now that summer's coming up. swimming is pretty good, walking with a friend helps too. walking, jogging, or biking for 40 minutes will help tone your body/legs.

don't know about white strips, but i do know that strawberries and baking soda can whiten your teeth. only do it once a month though, the baking soda can really wear your teeth down.

so i feel like the only way to be social is to eat unhealthily. what are other things i can suggest to friends when we hang out? everyone always wants to go out to lunch or to a movie and then dinner, etc. what else is fun that doesn't involve food? i'm trying to lose weight. also, any advice on openhouses? they're coming up and i have a feeling i'm gonna binggeee

well,
rollerskating is one of my favorites.
bowling is good too.
walking down the beach collecting sea shells, etc.
shopping or just hanging around the mall.

openhouses, look for healthy foods. i was reading in a seventeen magazine about parties, and they listed a bunch of foods that equal 200 calories, so you can take that while looking for healthier foods.
200 calorie snacks:
- a brownie the size of a ring box.
- cookie the size of a starbucks coffee lid.
- slice of cake the size of a sidekick cellphone

there was more..but i can't remember them.

Ide like to loose 7 pounds for summer

I need some very good exercises (running, ect) and the best foods.

Also if you can like a eating plan kinda thing? idk


7lbs until first day of summer?
should be pretty easy. aim for 2-3lbs per week. which is simple. basically, you want to cut out all the junkfood that you eat and replace them with fruits and veggies. veggies fill you so you don't get hungry so much, so they're good.
running, jogging, swimming, or biking are good ways to get an hour workout. do that around 4 times a week.
eating plan. for breakfast, try oatmeal and a bannana/different type of fruit, and OJ.
lunch, try a turkey wrap. with provolon cheese and veggies.
dinner, try cheese ravoli, or a salad.

you can eat way more than that..but eat 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables per day.

I am on birth control. He used a condom. But we did it a different way than we usually do and after he cummed and pulled out, the condom was still inside of me. It didn't break. And I know there's the possibility that some might have leaked out the top but I don't know. I'm looking into getting the morning-after pill. Any other suggestions?

its good that you're on birth control. and the guy using a condomn is like double the perfection. the chances of you getting pregnant is like..1. if he did leak..its still not that big of a deal because of the birth control.
