so i feel like the only way to be social is to eat unhealthily. what are other things i can suggest to friends when we hang out? everyone always wants to go out to lunch or to a movie and then dinner, etc. what else is fun that doesn't involve food? i'm trying to lose weight. also, any advice on openhouses? they're coming up and i have a feeling i'm gonna binggeee
openhouses, look for healthy foods. i was reading in a seventeen magazine about parties, and they listed a bunch of foods that equal 200 calories, so you can take that while looking for healthier foods.
200 calorie snacks:
- a brownie the size of a ring box.
- cookie the size of a starbucks coffee lid.
- slice of cake the size of a sidekick cellphone

You should get a salad and water with lemon. And now that the warmer weather is here .. Try going out for ice cream and get soft serve frozen yogurt! Even regular soft serve ice cream is fine! When you go to the movies .. Instead of loading up popcorn and a gallon of coke just stop at a drug store and buy some sugar free hersheys kisses (or any sugar free choc. ) or the best most satisfying snack would be honey wheat twist pretzels. They have them everywhere including cvs. They have 1 gram of fat per serving and you can eat like 10 of them! Go to your local supermarket and buy either a big bag of the pre mixed salad and fix it for yourself when your hungry. But don't forget your protein! Cut up steak and put it in your salad. Don't use fat free dressing its loaded with sugar! They have these new dressing sprays that are a lot better. If you eat a healthy meal before you go out with your friends then you won't need to eat with them! Lose weight ... gain money !!!
Have you tried suggesting bowling ? Laser tag? Walking the beach? Mall ?amusement parks ? All those are fun activities that inclide excersice. Well if you need anymore advice about this or anything just email me at shianne@tmail.com! [ shiannekelly's advice column | Ask shiannekelly A Question ]
