twistedteen25 answered Friday August 25 2006, 5:52 pm: Its not considered as 'rape' if the guy didn't force you to have sexual intercourse with him. But if he was a bit rough and maybe he told you he was a rapist you should press charges against him. The longer you wait his semen could 'fade' I guess. And it would be harder to tell who's semen it is. [ twistedteen25's advice column | Ask twistedteen25 A Question ]
frankus521 answered Tuesday August 22 2006, 10:47 pm: it depends on the state you live in. i know where i live in georgia the legal consent age is 16. but just look on the internet and find out. just be sure that your boyfriend is just not in it for the sex becuase he is alot older than you. i know this becuase i did the same thing except i was only 15 and my b/f was 25, i regret having sex with him and that being the guy i lost my virginity to. thank god that i stopped after him(having sex) for 4 years i am 19 now. and i just had sex for the first time again!!! with a guy that i am deeply inlove with. just think befor you do it. more_than_a_feeling answered Tuesday August 22 2006, 6:41 pm: If you are under the age of consent in your state, then it is considered aggravated sexual assault. I don't know why everyone says it's "rape" because it doesn't even fall into that category. Visit www.ageofconsent.com to see what the age of consent is in your state. xEVYx answered Tuesday August 22 2006, 5:28 pm: States vary between ages, some are 17 and some are 18. I know TX is 17, so you should type in where you live and look it up to find out for your state!
MikeCFT answered Tuesday August 22 2006, 2:43 am: Depends on the state's age of consent...I know in NY its 17 so theoretically if it's NY then no...as far as the statuatory portion is concerned, as long as 17 is the age of consent in your state and its consensual...no its not rape. If it's below the state's statuatory age then it doesn't matter if its consensual or not. [ MikeCFT's advice column | Ask MikeCFT A Question ]
MelLeDisko answered Tuesday August 22 2006, 12:19 am: Since you're under 18 and there is obviously a four year difference, then yeah, it is considered statutory rape. Even though it's consentual [sp] sex.
This is what someone found on the internet for me:
Sexual relations with a person who has not reached the statutory age of consent.
sexual intercourse with a person who is below the age of consent as defined by law
sexual intercourse with a girl who has not reached the age of consent (even if both parties participate willingly)
rape consisting of sexual intercourse with a person beneath an age (as 14 years) specified by statute
NOTE: Many state statutes also specify a minimum age of the perpetrator or an age differential (as at least four years) between the perpetrator and the victim. Consent of the victim and belief that the victim is of the age of consent are usually considered immaterial. Statutory rape is now codified under various names, such as rape in the second degree rape in the third degree unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, and criminal sexual conduct in the second degree.
babiigirl answered Monday August 21 2006, 10:46 pm: It wouldnt be considered rape if you are letting him having sex with you. And thats in any situation. If you are willing then its not rape.
But if someone knew that a 30 year was having sex with you then people can have him put on the pedophile list. Even if you guys are boyfriend and girlfriend. And Even was you turn 18 your boyfriend will be on that list forever.
Melody answered Monday August 21 2006, 10:43 pm: It depends where you live.
Technically speaking as long as the youngest person is at least 18 it doesn't matter. But seeing as how no one pays a bit of attention to these 'laws' it really doesn't matter. If the girl is 17 I think she's old enought to decide what is age appropriate. She'll be 18 soon anyways. [ Melody's advice column | Ask Melody A Question ]
karenR answered Monday August 21 2006, 10:38 pm: Any time a guy forces himself on a girl itis rape regardless of his age.
If you mean statutory rape, as in he is dating a kid when he should be dating someone his own age...depends. Most states the age of consent is 16.
Does't mean parents can't throw a fit and destroy the the 30 year olds life in the town they live in.
If you are needeing the info for yourself, here is a
chart that lists the age of consent in all the states. Just look for yours. :)
