okay. i thought that this day, 6/6/06 was the day the anti-christ was supposed to be born. but everyone is saying we are all gonna die today, but the bible doesnt say anything about this. so what is actually happening today?

it is just another day it says in the bible that nobody other than the father knows the day that the revelation will hapen, Not even his own son Jesus Christ. All the people who say the world is going to end on such-n-such day just wants attention, to create a scare. may God Bless.

It was just a nmrmal day. This is a little past explaination day but oh well. Satan's number is actually 616 and 666 is inaccurate. Just thought I'd say that.

well nothing really. People also thought that the end of the world was Y2K. but it wasn't. only one person knows when it will happen, God, so we shouldn't even ponder when it will happen. it will happen when it will and nothing we can do will stop it.

ok, i know I'm a little late, but the devil's number is 6-6-6. So on 6/6/06, people think the world will end and such but really, it's just a coincidence of #'s. I wouldn't worry. Nothing scary will happen.

I know this answer is a little late but.. the original 6/6/6 was 2,000 years ago and nothing bad was recorded on that day. If you want to really break it down, two days ago it was 6/6/2006. So it really wasn't 6/6/6. Also, God decides when the world ends, not the devil. He wouldn't have the world end on a day that has the number of the devil.

The bible does say:
"Man is not to know the time or the hour that God has set for the end of time"
So basically just as every prediction that has come before us and been wrong [remember Y2K?], many more will be made, none accurate of course. What is happenin today? Nothing, just an ordinary day. Media tends to get hungry and over-exagerate things. Hope that helped.

evryone in my class says that to, but this is what i found out recently about 6/6/6 k, the people that praised and worshipped the devil were called Satanists now satanists don't exist in our world anymore. But it is in the bible it states something about the world ending in flames, better off -global warming. and global warming is happening. Nothing is going to happen today and any other 6/6/6. Well, as everybody told you, nothing is going to happen today. People are just freaked out because 666 is supposedly the number of the beast. I won't go into that any more since many people already have, but I will tell you what is actually happening today. A scary movie called The Omen came out in theaters. It's about the anti-christ. I believe they did that on purpose.

Nothing is really going to happen. It's just people getting really skeptical. I mean, if you think about it, this has happened once a century for a while now (June, 6th, 1906 would have been marked as 6/6/06) and the world clearly didn't end then. Plus, the Bible says that no one can know when the world will end, so it is obviously not today.

Well nothing really, It is all a bunch of myths and people mainly that are athisit (sorry if I spelled that wrong) But nothing is going to happen if you know the bible well then you will know that Crist said he would come un expectidly. So yeah and if you didnt know 6-6-6 is the devils "number" and I dont know who that was came to be. Hope this helps

we are not going to all die on june 6th 2006. 666 is the mark of the beast that will be put unto all people who deny Christ after the rapture. the rapture is when God will come to earth and release our souls from our bodies to be taken into heaven. anyone who is left with the mark of the beast after the rapture will not be allowed into heaven,and will not be allowed to trade goods on earth to keep themselves alive. therefore, they will be destined to die, no matter what- and even the devil cant help them. also, God stated that you will not know when he comes to earth for the rapture- so why everyone is claiming its gonna be this tuesday is insane. if everyone knew what day he was coming back- they would enjoy themselves, and at the last minute repent for their sins and take it all back. God wont give you the benefit of the doubt- thats why you must be prepared to leave,and be following God every moment in your life, because we never know when he will come back. ifyou want to talk anymore about this- IM me- mikelly4039. ill be more than happy to talk to you about any questions you have.

That's just a rumor that some people decided to spread. I wouldn't worry about it.
I don't think anything special will happen today unless somebody deliberately tries to go out and make something happen.
Some people are just in snit because the way we abbreviate today's date is similar (not even the same) to a Biblical prophesy number. But 666 is the number of a man, not the number of a date.
The number comes from the book of Revelation in the Christian Bible, chapter 13. It is describing the Anti-Christ and what will happen during the Great Tribulation.
The end of chapter 13 says:
"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number [is] Six hundred threescore [and] six." (Revelation 13:16-18)
For those who might not know, a "score" is 20. So "threescore" is 3x20, or 60. Therefore, the number is six hundred, sixty, and six, or 666.

Nothings supposed to happen or will happen. People are just making things up to scare other people. Dont believe anything they say about today. Todays just a normal day =) And its 6/6/06 not 666 so I dont know why people even started this whole thing...
