As long as you are lifting them correctly and they are not far too heavy for you to lift then there is nothing wrong with weight lifting! It will not stunt your growth - have you seen the size of some of the weight lifters out there!!!

Lifting excessive weights, like more than about 80% of your max regularly can stunt your growth because of the stress on your certain areas. However, it can also release growth hormones that can actually make your grow more.
