well in personality, girls LOVE humor..if you can make them laugh and they feel a connection..you got it dude. be sensitive but not pussy, and of course sweet and know how to treat a girl. girls love hugs, and yes, there can be good hugs and bad hugs.
good hugs- when the guy puts both arms around the girls waist and hold on and then the hug is ending, slowly let go.
bad hugs- quick one-armed. when they are so quick, they bash against you. OUCH
when it comes to physical, they look at eyes, hair, and just face overall. bad teeth might be a turn off but some girls dont care. most girls like longs hair. and weird laughs are turn offs :P

I personally like a guy to be really funny at times, but be romantic. No one likes a non-romantic guy. Like if you hook up with a girl, hold her hand and let her know that she's the only one for you. Physical appearance matters not to me. As long as he isn't 3'0" with a blue mohawk and 32948 face piercings, I'm good!! I honestly can't stress enough how little physical appearance matters. And anyone who DOES care and discriminates against you due to your physical appearance isn't worth a single second of your time anyhow!!!

Sense of humor is the KEY!!!! I LOVE a guy I can sit and joke with!!

I also like TALL guys, but at 13.. you shouldn't worrie about this if you're still on the shorter side. You will grow. I also like big hands and hairy legs..
I like a guy to be SMART... CREATIVE... OPINIONATED... SILLY.. and OPEN MINDED...
I like random little things - like a little note... a stuffed animal.. a hug.. and so on.
I LOVE a strong man! Now, strong doesn't mean you have to have bulging biceps, because you don't NEED bulging biceps and a six pack to be strong!! Just physical strength all around, ya know what I mean? I'd like to feel safe with him!!
Also, independant guys, I love!!! I like older men.. like 18-24, so I like if they live on their own, have their own car, and have a job. I admire indpendence so much, and I like a guy who can take care of himself!! But again, at 13... don't even worrie about this.
Lastly, but most definitely not least important: a family man is a MUST with me!!!

A girl likes guys that are honest. I don't think there is anything more a turn-off than a liar. And you should always be yourself. Someone who likes you for who you are is what you should want not someone who likes who you aren't because it will only hurt you in th elong-run if you keep pretending to be fake. And the last thing you should know is that different girls like different things in guys. Some girls look for bad boys while others want the good guy that always does what's right. Yeah, basically what everyone else said, girls have different tastes. To give you an idea, physically, I like guys that are athletic, especially if they play basketball. Or skate. I really like shaggy hair on guys. Personality-wise, I like guys that have a sense of humor and can make me laugh. That's a big thing for me.

-guys who are cocky utterly piss me off
-guy who act differently around girls than they do their own friens
-guys who say they will call back, and never do
-guys who are perverted...it's like w/e be perverted on your own time just don't bring it up around me
Things that I like:
-guys who show respect for his parents, my parents, and my friends
-guys who are polite and say please and thank you
-guys can swear...but not constantly
-guys who put the girl first (like instead of saying I want to see this movie say "What movie do you want to see?" and see that movie no matter how much of a chick flick it is)
-guys with a sense of humor
-guys who remind their girlfriends how much they like them
-guys who look past a girls looks
For the looks...Great guys come in all different sizes, shapes, colors, styles and whatever. I wouldn't worry too much about your looks because as long as your personality rocks it makes you look just that hot.

girls look for many different things in guys. it all depends on the girl's personality. so if there's a particular girl that you have in mind. you could try asking her what she looks for in a guy and although that sounds quite bold to do it'll help out a lot and you could always say that you're just curious if she asks why you wanted to know. if you want to know what girls look for in a more general scheme, i would think that a normal typical girl wants someone who is a romantic but not overly mushy. a guy who lets her know that he cares for her and is willing to stick by her in the inevitable bad times that come in all relationships. girls like guys who have a sense of humor. laughter is important in a relationship because without it everything becomes too serious or boring. she wants a guy who helps her feel secure, safe and comfortable. she wants someone that she is able to trust and be honest with and he'll do the same for her. she wants someone who is fun and interesting. someone who is confident and has a good sense of self worth. she wants someone who listens but is able to carry on a good and sometimes deep conversation. she wants a guy who is proud of her instead of hiding her from his friends. all in all she wants someone who is comfortable being themselves around her. the last thing a girl wants is a wannabe. as for looks, some girls prefer perfect male specimens while others don't care. i guess it would help if you were labeled as "cute" or "hot" but if you aren't its not the end of the world. most girls don't care when it comes to looks. just do well on the whole personality aspect and its all good from there. just remember, all girls are different and they're all looking for different things. don't try to conform just to be liked by some girl. be yourself and a girl out there will like you just for being you. hope that helped! =)
