it sounds like you have a serious case of depression. i suggest that you go talk to someone who you trust doesn't necessarily have to be family and seek their help. ask this person to take you a doctor so that the doctor can properly diagnose it and give you the best solutions. in the meantime, i suggest that whenever you have their periods of severe depression and despair, to NOT be alone. being alone while being depressed can be very dangerous. talk to a friend on the phone, do something fun and interesting or spend some time with family. anything to help get your mind off of depresive thoughts. i know its very tempting to drown yourself in sorrows and listening to depressive thoughts but you have to fight against it. if at any time you feel completely hopeless and the only thing that you can think of is killing yourself, call or talk to someone immediately. possibly a teens help line. depression is very serious but can be helped in many ways. over time you will get better but it takes your co-operation and strong will to fight depression. i should know, i've had it for 6 years, and i fight it everyday but its the type of battle where you ALWAYS have ot win. don't let depression take over you. good luck hunn and keep smiling

well there's nothing wrong with cuddling. i think its really good that you aren't willing to just do something just because of its expected of you. as for why you can't bring yourself to kiss him, there are many possible answers to that. my friend had the same problem and she explained to me that in her situation, kissing is something very intimate and that she has a hard time being close to people, including her boyfriend. maybe kissing for you puts you in a state of akwardness or discomfort. maybe you feel vulnerable allowing a guy who you say you just "care" about to be that close and intimate with you. maybe you're just not ready to go that far into your relationship with him just yet. maybe you're afraid that if you kiss him more often, he'll expect something else. as you can there can be many underlineing reasons as to why you can't bring yourself to kiss your boyfriend. the only real advice i can give is that you take some time to think about all the possible reasons and whatever reason you come up with, talk about it with your boyfriend so he can understand what's going on and not be left in the dark. once again, i respect the fact that you're taking it slow and you're being pressured to do things you don't want to. i hope everything works out =)

well i think that she was really rude for not going to your sleepover after she already promised that she would go. i suggest that you try and talk things out with her without bringing up who was wrong or who was right. its nice that you apologized but i believe that a person should never have to apologize for feeling a certain way. if you got mad at her for what she did then i don't think that you should have to compromise your feelings. you should never apologize for who you are and what you feel. most especially if you aren't trully convinced that you are sorry. on the other hand, if you did say something mean or rude to her, then you should apologize. you've already done what you can. the ball is in her court. you can try approaching her again in a non-confrontational way and try to explain why you were upset and to allow her to state her side of the story. if your friend alyssa is a person who constantly lies and puts you down then you should consider all the reasons why you're friends with her in the first place. and if the reasons are no longer good enough, then consider this as a possible ending to a friendship. friendships should be about equality and respect and if those things aren't present in the friendship then maybe, just maybe the friendship isn't worth having. i'm not suggesting to give up but take some time to cool off and think things through. AND always remember that a friend is supposed to be someone who is honest, caring, respectful and loving towards you and if they aren't, they're probably not worth being your friend. hope that helped =)

you could always try using mouse. it works really well, holds your hair but doesn't go as rock hard as hair spray. i think that would work the best in my opinion. your could try gel if you'd like. thats also a pretty good product. no specific brands. anything will work and it also depends on what kind of hair you have. i've always found that anything in the brand of pantene pro-v, works really well. but seriouisly, ANYTHING will do. its not about the product perse. its more about how you style it and then buying the product to match that description. i hope that helped in some way! =)

its quite natural to have certain admirations or crushes on celebrities. many people go through a deep fascination with famous people. haven't you seen the many screaming fans at concerts or shows? as long as you admire from a distance everthing is ok. it only become a serious problem if you start to stalk them or something. but either than that by all means go ahead and have a crush. heck, i have a crush on many actors. so enjoy having a crush on an actor of for anyone for that matter, there's no harm in doing so. =)

Geroge Orwell is a great short story author. my favorite story of his is Animal Farm. It provides and interesting perspective of the political world and takes a humourous perspective into how the government and leaders use various tactics to opress and control society. I found it extremely interesting due to its personification of animals to desmonstates some of the controling tactics. if you haven't already read it, i would suggest it. enjoy!

you could always try getting and agent if you can afford it. it helps alot because its their job to look for jobs for you. my guy friend has one and he gets called all the time to do lots of ads and commercials. his agent even helped him get into broadway for the lion king play. so i suggest trying to get one. if you're really serious about modelling and want to get involved ask your parents to help you out. the same guy friend has very supportive parents who go searching for job opportunitys for him all the time. just keep a watchful eye out in advertisments for modelling jobs. its takes a lot of hard work and decdication. you spend a lot of time in studios working but if you have the time and are dedicated to modelling, then best of luck to you in your search!

girls look for many different things in guys. it all depends on the girl's personality. so if there's a particular girl that you have in mind. you could try asking her what she looks for in a guy and although that sounds quite bold to do it'll help out a lot and you could always say that you're just curious if she asks why you wanted to know. if you want to know what girls look for in a more general scheme, i would think that a normal typical girl wants someone who is a romantic but not overly mushy. a guy who lets her know that he cares for her and is willing to stick by her in the inevitable bad times that come in all relationships. girls like guys who have a sense of humor. laughter is important in a relationship because without it everything becomes too serious or boring. she wants a guy who helps her feel secure, safe and comfortable. she wants someone that she is able to trust and be honest with and he'll do the same for her. she wants someone who is fun and interesting. someone who is confident and has a good sense of self worth. she wants someone who listens but is able to carry on a good and sometimes deep conversation. she wants a guy who is proud of her instead of hiding her from his friends. all in all she wants someone who is comfortable being themselves around her. the last thing a girl wants is a wannabe. as for looks, some girls prefer perfect male specimens while others don't care. i guess it would help if you were labeled as "cute" or "hot" but if you aren't its not the end of the world. most girls don't care when it comes to looks. just do well on the whole personality aspect and its all good from there. just remember, all girls are different and they're all looking for different things. don't try to conform just to be liked by some girl. be yourself and a girl out there will like you just for being you. hope that helped! =)

there's no easy solution to this situation. when matters of the heart involve good friendships, things can inevitably get tricky. I for one, am a firm believer that sometimes best friends can make the best lovers but embarking on relationship with someone who knows you so well can sometimes lead to serious problems. what i suggest is that you think about it throughly and clearly for a long time before making a final decision. if he really is the best friend that you say he is, he shouldn't mind how long it takes for you to think this through. you first have to ask yourself whether or not you actually like him. if you do, think long and hard about whether or not you're willing to risk a great friendship. if you're really worried about ruining your friendship, talk with him about your concerns and try and find a way to ensure that a friendship will still continue even if you guys break up. all in all, just do what you think feels right and make you happy. good luck! =)
