Okay i have hair like.....side bangs over left eye really choppy short layered hair that comes to to just above my shoulders, i know hot right? but i want to get the messy-ish look. Eh i'm not sure what product to use in my hair because I'm a little lost here. i can do it with hair spray and this fiber gum putty crap but its like rock hard and it starts to make my hair look greasy after a few hours which is NOT cool. So yeah, i just wanna know if anyone knows any good products thats meant for that?

I would definitly just use a cottonball amount full of mousse and turn your hair upside down and just like mess it up! start at the roots and just like scrunch it. i would go easy on the hairspray cuz it can make your hair look really sticky and just like you know greasy and fake. the mousse is definitly your best bet, nothing sticky. Try the Sebastian kind... even tho its expensive, it works so well! sorry if this is TMI! good luck! xO [ x0xPREPx0x's advice column | Ask x0xPREPx0x A Question ]

SweetStarx89 answered Friday August 26 2005, 3:28 pm: Hey. That is hot! lol anyways i hate the fiber gum putty stuff because it also takes forever to get out. try using gel like Garnier Fructis' XXL Volume Weightless Gel $4 at walmart. I haven't used it get but i do use the curl shaping gel to scrunch my hair so that probably will work. anything else let me know. hope i helped. take care =) x3 SweetStar. jaramae answered Friday August 26 2005, 1:26 pm: you could always try using mouse. it works really well, holds your hair but doesn't go as rock hard as hair spray. i think that would work the best in my opinion. your could try gel if you'd like. thats also a pretty good product. no specific brands. anything will work and it also depends on what kind of hair you have. i've always found that anything in the brand of pantene pro-v, works really well. but seriouisly, ANYTHING will do. its not about the product perse. its more about how you style it and then buying the product to match that description. i hope that helped in some way! =) [ jaramae's advice column | Ask jaramae A Question ]
