All the suggestions above are great but I find one is pretty reliable:
When a guy is talking to a group of people and makes a joke check to see who he looks at first after making it- this is the person who's approval he most wants and, if it's a mixed group usually the person he finds most attractive.

The only true way is if he asks you out, but there are different ways it can be told. Being a guy myself, I find that girls seem to think it when they catch you looking at them, or if they meet you face the face and you look up and down (Head to toe...) 3 times. Or if you catch them looking down (No! I have not done that! :) ).

well, you can never totally be sure if a guy likes you unless he tells you, but there are a lot of things that a guy does that kind of hints that he likes you. like..
-if you catch him staring at you many times
-if he kind of looks nervous around you
-when he talks to you, he doesnt really look at you straight in the eye
-when he's with his friends, he wont be paying attention to them. instead he'll be looking your way and checkin you out most of the time.
-he'll try to impress you when you're around him, even if it does make him look like an idiot.
-if he gives you special treatment and sets you aside from all of your other friends

well..when a guy likes you they mostly smile around you...try to impress you...they think of you everyday. trust me im a guy. they do anything for you. watch. they boy you think likes you, well ask him for a dollar and see what he says. if he right away give it to you then hell yea he likes you. if he tells you something then hes a jerk. its not about getting the money, its about his reaction. ;)

if he is sweet & considerate of you..a guy doesnt have to ask you out to like you...he could be just wanting some...so if hes nice, kind and considerate of you, and is always complimenting you.

there's no correct answer or solution. you can never really know whether or not he likes you. thats the beauty of life. its full of suspense and mystery. if you knew if a guy liked you, you'd be able to read minds and then you wouldn't need this advice and you'd prolly use your new super poser for other things. there's are some minor hints and indications as to when a guy likes you but you can't always rely on them because all guy have different ways of showing a girl that he like her. here are some signs that guys use to show interest for girls.
he comes close to you
he tries to make you laugh
he asks you questions
he tries to make you talk about yourself
he asks for your phone number or Email
he tries to demonstrate in the conversation his men's qualities
he's trying to sell himself (sports, work, wealth... )
he offers help
he gives you a compliment
he blushes when you talk to him
you see he gets nervous when you're around
he's nervous while talking to you (hands, eyes, voice...usually you can notice because he's doing too much
he plays with an object (cigarette, pen, glass...)
he can't help looking at you, and when you look at him: he suddenly looks in another direction
he can't help making eye-contact with you
he reveals his feelings in a disguised way, and say: just kidding
he tries to be with you
he offers you something
he makes an effort with his outfit
he tries to be more hansome (hairdresser, new clothes, shoes, watch...)
he fakes jealousy for fun

he's usually looking at you

I'm sure a guy likes me when he smiles a lot for no apparent reason,sits next to me or talks to me a lot,and get's very interested in what I have to say.Also askes me about my personnal life and askes me several questions referring about me.And stares at me a lot and if he likes me a lot his eyes would glow!
