Making a CD I want the world to know my comedy stylings, so I was thinking of making an audio CD, how do I do that? Thanks! If it helps, I have a Windows XP and no microphone.

If you want to record an audio file, a microphone is pretty much a necessity.
Most people don't know this, but earphones can be used as a crude microphone. Just plug them into the microphone jack. Normally only one ear records, so you don't get stereo sound; all of the audio will be on one side only.
To be honest, the results will be pretty bad.
But microphones are cheap. Spend a few bucks and pick one up. Then you can either download some audio software, or use the built-in Sound Recorder utility in Windows XP; from your Start button, it's in "Programs", "Accessories", "Entertainment".
Once you've created and edited your audio file(s), you can burn them to CD. If you don't know how to do that, click on the Start bar, go to "Help and Support", and enter "make CD". That will lead you to full instructions. Or you can download CD burning software online; there are lots of freeware options out there that work well. You probably also received some sort of burning software with your burner. Read the Help of that software to find out how to create an audio CD.
By the way, if you want to make a professional-sounding CD, you'll eventually want to invest a little money in better recording equipment, maybe even a makeshift home studio.
Good luck! ]
First of all, how do you think you can record without a microphone, ok well thats not my point sorry, well if you have a webcam you can record it on that and later make it a music file. THats the only way you can do that. Or else you would need a microphone. ]
