thongs on my mind
well i want a thong really badly but the last time i asked my mom when i could get one she said when i was 15! i think it's really unfair, i could have got one with my friend in fl but i know if my mom found out that i did she would have freaked! my friend got five behind her mom's back but i couldn't should i buy some or should i ask her again?

haha. okay i'm only laughing cuz i remember my first thong experience.
ok well me and my mom were in the mall and we were in the underwear section and me and my mom always joke about wearing thongs and stuff. i had wanted one but was too afraid to ask. but when we were at the mall she just said "well are you going to pick one out or what?" so i did and we got it but she doesn't remember that i have it. i think she was drunk when we went shopping that day but anyway. my dad does the laundry so i always wash it on my own and wrap it up in a towel and shove it under my bed. so yeah just get one with your friends or sometime when you're at the mall with your mom and if she lets you go to a different store without her then go buy one and hide it in another bag or something. just go to JC Penney or a store like that. don't go to Victoria's Secret cuz if your mom does find it then she'll really think your doing stuff with it even though it's just underwear.

that happened to me to. this is a good tip:if yoo have n older sister n yoo 2 r really tight then ask her if she will take yoo to get one...mine sed yes yy wouldnt youts. well i hope i helped:)

Well what I did was go and get one without permisson ! I kept mine hid in a different place and I started doing my own laundry ! I mean you can ask again but if that don't work then go for it ! Hell my mom found out 2 years later and she laughed ! LOL Well i hope it works out and I hope that I helped ! Later gurl !

i had that same problem. mym om said no but i just went to the mall with some friends and bought some. then change into at the mall and put your normal underwear in your purse or somthing (i know it sounds weird but it works).just do that like everytime you go to the mall or shopping or watever.hide them somewhere that your mom will never look.and just wash them when you rhome alone or wash them at a friends house.

do not i reapeat do not ask your mom again and next time yo have money and go shopping with your friends buy one , and when they need washed wash them by hand and let them dry in your closet and then either hide them under your bed or put them someplace you won't forget and that she won't look

ask your mom again! its fine that you bought one behind her back but be honest with her and ask her why she wont let you wear them! and if she says "your too young!" or the "you will do things that you arent suppose to with them" ... my mom said the same exact things to me! but its fine * if she really doesnt want you to wear them respect the fact! she is your mother and she does know what is best for you!

What is so bad about thongs? ITS UNDERWEAR. Seriously, I don't know why Moms are like this. I told my mom I wanted them, and she took me shopping. Why don't you just go buy some and who cares if your mom finds it. It is underwear. Or like one of my friends, just do your own laundry and keep your pants up while your mom is around. same thing happened to me :) trust me your mom will find out but for now if you are dying for a thong i would just get one and make sure to wash it ( do your own landry) or just beg her and ask her again just say i don't see what the big deal is there just cute underwear!!! LOL

ok...now this probably isnt being a good role model or whatever...but this is what i did
my mom was the same way...she was like NO WAY ! YOU CANT WEAR THOSE!!! ... sooooo alls you have to do is--go to the mall with your friends. buy one...or two or however many you want...put them in your purse (so if you're carrying a bag, you're mom wont ask whats in it) ... then when you get home, put them under all your other underwear...learn how to do your own laundry (if you dont know how already)
and buy the time you're 15 ... just tell her you're going to the mall to buy some...
you just cant let her find the thongs in the mean time
how old are you anyways?...kuz if you're like, 12 .. i wouldnt recommend this...13-thats when i did it ... and when my mom found out, she bought me some!! ... so mabe this will work out for the better!

I don't know hwy your mom, won't let you get a thong. And if you're going it for boys, then... dont' waste ur time. Boys in highschool are still so immature.
Well it's underwear, do what you wish. But if you'll get bad concience, becouse you're doing it behind your mom's back, it's not worth it either.

Hey..sup?? I think it depends on how old you are now but if you're really close to 15 than you should just tough it out and wait. If you're really far from 15 like 12/13 than I would confront her again and tell her that you really think you need them and it's just underwear. I know that you think that wearing thongs is cool and sexy but honestly it just gives you a permanent wedgy up your a**..lol. If you really want to get them confront her about your desires and if she still says no than just tough it out. DON'T HIDE IT BEHIND HER BACK because she can find out ne time by going through your closets. Thongs aren't really that important but if she says you can have 1 shop till you drop. You probably shouldn't buy one behind your mom's back just becausesooner or later she's either gunna see it stickin' out of your pants or find it hanging around ur room accidentally or in the laundry. I got my first thong when i was 13 just cuz my best friend wore them. If you decide to talk to her about it again, reassure her its not for sexual purposes, (even if it might be ;) ). For example, maybe you have a pair of jeans that don't have back pockets or might be a little tight in the tush.. tell her you are sick of your underwear showing through them and that a thong would not show!
