Hey,
Im a 14/m and i babysit. Im NOT gay!!! i have a gf (were pretty steady) and everything. But babysitting is fun bc i like to b with lil kids and im getting payd 4 it. its easy money. Do the parnets whos kid im babysitting think im gay? bc ive gotten a lot of ppl who think im gay.

dude...you are not gay, like you said. as for the people that think you are gay...that's just rude. personally, i think its hott when guys baby-sit, because they are saying that they are willing to take care of kids and hang-out with them. there is nothing wrong with that. there is nothing wrong with a man that can have fun baby-sitting. rock on, kid!

It's wonderful that you're having fun with the kids and making good money, and you have a steady girlfriend... things seem pretty well off for you. Just because you babysit doesn't mean you're gay. I mean, i play guys soccer, i street roller blade, i do typical "guy" stuff like belch loud in public and i don't have a very feminine walk but it doesn't mean i'm gay. Not that there's anything wrong with being gay, but if you're not, then well, you're not. And certainly, liking children is not gayness. How do you think all those loving fathers out there do it? A lot of people thinking your gay is simply a lack of judgement and extreme narrow-mindedness on their part. Don't let it get to you. They'll see how wrong they are in time i'm sure. They'll probably grow out of it. People that age tend to be very immature.

That's not a problem. I'm 17 and I help my mom babysit (she owns a daycare) and I enjoy it also. I don't think the parents think you're gay because you're taking care of their children. It just shows that you care about their child. If dudes think you're gay, then they suck. They're probably potheads. If girls think you're gay, then they probably don't like children. But other than that, girls will think it's sweet.

Well some people might think its alittle odd for a boy to babysit i guess.. but i think its normal. I mean you just happen to enjoy kids and youd probably be a great father later on. But i dont know why they would think your gay. Its normal for a guy or girl to babysit. And i agree that its fun and easy money lol.

Anyways.. its just that you're really sweet and you care about little kids and that you enjoy it. Plus you might be still young for a real job so this is the best and easiest way to earn more. It's not bad to babysit. I think it's good you like to be with kids and take care of them.. don't worry about it. My brother who is gonna be fifteen also likes to babysit, and is NOT gay. If the parents think you're gay, just tell them and if they don't believe you, who needs them? Stop baby-sitting their children if they don't respect you.

No, it's not bad. I like to babysit too, kids are fun and easy to entertain, so basically you just get a quick buck. Nothing wrong with that. You're NOT gay. If you think the parents think you're gay, ask them. Obviously, they'll say no, so scratch that. Instead, try bringing your girlfriend one time to "help" you sit the kids?

I wouldn't think you were gay. Some guys are just good with kids. My son stays home and watches all 5 of his because his wife can't handle them. He loves it. Some guys are just good with kids. If you enjoy what you are doing, don't let anyone sway you from babysitting. Introduce them to your girlfriend if you are overly worried about it. :)
