$$$Treadmills

Question Posted Friday July 22 2005, 6:01 pm

Ok, I want a treadmill, cause i luv running.
The thing is, i'm not rich and from the looks of most treadmills they're REALLY EXPENSIVE!
Does anyone know of a treadmill website or something that has cheap treadmills?
<3 thnx

♥You can try running outside. If you don't like that idea and still like the idea of getting a treadmill (which I completley agree with you) you can try searching on EBAY. Also, if you have a used athletics equipment store nearby (most popular store that might be in your area is called Play It Again Sports, they have used treadmills (good quality, cheaper price). Also, you could try various yard/garage sales. If you have a little extra money, try getting a gym membership. Not only can you use the treadmill, you can use all the other machines too.

I think buying a tredmill is just a waste. Why not run in place or around the neightborhood and save a couple hundred bucks?

I don't know of any websites but if you can make small payments every month, or every week, you can put one on layaway at Walmart or a similar store. Won't be able to have it until you get it paid for but it is an option you might be able to afford. Mom may have to help you with it because you probably have to be 18 to do it yourself. Though I am not positive about that. If interested you can call Walmart and ask. :)

Honey, you'd be better joggin round a coupla blocks.

Not only do you get to see more interestng stuff, but excersize burns more calories when you are outside!!!!

You could try somewhere cheap like Wal-mart, K-mart, or Target. Sorry I dont really know of a website or anything. But if you love running and don't have a lto of money than why don't you run around your neighborhood or block for a certain amount of time. You could also run at your school field track thing. Hope I helped :)

Try looking at auctions, garage sales, and online auction sites(www.ebay.com or www.auctions.yahoo.com are good ones to try). You could also check your local newspaper classifieds. A lot of times you can get nearly new items at cheap prices. Sometimes overstock bargain sites (www.overstock.com) can get you the item you want at a reduced price.

Since people tend to be able to get out more in the summer-time, indoor exercise equipment is generally cheaper this time of year. Once it starts getting colder, prices will go up since people will be moving their exercise indoors.

Haha, where do you live? We're actually selling ours lol. But, you should try Oshman's or even garage sales. They would have pretty cheap ones, but you have to make sure it works good. Also, keep an eye on the classified section!

good luck- :)

Well i wouldnt really recomend getting a very cheap one because they are not that good :/ but sears, and wallmart have good, not to pricey ones. I think you should save up maybe work for the money ! But you should really go outside and run and play. Treadmills are good if you live in an area that you have no back yard and a city. But yes running and swimming is good.
