i know of 3 that i listen to a lot,

they're all by a band called skillet

comatose (comatose, i will never wake up with out you)

the older i get (the older i get, will i get over it, its been way too long for the times we've missed, i can't believe it still hurts like this)

those nights (remember when we'd stay up late and we'd talk all night, in a dark room lit by the tv light through all the hard times in my life, those nights kept me alive we'd listen to the radio play all night didn't want to go home to another fight through all the hard times in my life, those nights kept me alive)

There's

"Right Here" by Staind (my favorite song at the moment)
"Wish You Were Here" and "I Miss You" by Incubus
"Letters To You" by Finch
"I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith

Most of those songs were mentioned but those are the only ones that I can think of at this moment.

Ha, that's so weird, I'm listening to Blink 182 right now. Not that song though. Hmmm...try "Yesterday" by The Beatles, "Cup of Coffee" by Garbage, and "A Sorta Fairytale" by Tori Amos. Though it kind of helps if you meant as a friend or like, missing your boyfriend or girlfriend. Oh well. Those songs are all good. "Almost" by Bowling for Soup is good, it's a bit silly but also emotional.

I couldn't think of any, and one comes on right now... lol. I know it's not R&B, or even close, but hey, what the hell. It's more like a cross between easy listening and a rock ballad.
Blackmore's Night - Wish You Were Here.
