pinkfairy1773 answered Thursday July 21 2005, 6:40 pm: well i sure wish i was you =) i am 15 and i am 5'6''and i weigh around 160
and i am overweigh...well i dont seem like that because ...well i have no idea but all people i meet thinks i am around 140... but anyways here is what you can do.
you can try eating 500 more calroies each day ... i am not saying pig out on snacks but you can try
eating little more amount of food or eat snacks but eat healty snacks and if you happen to eat junk food then just eat one serving, and not a whole lot of increase in your food amount each day so you wont stretch out your skin.
well personally i dont htink it's too skinny..im 5'8 and weigh 115..i know what itsl ike for people to be like your a tooth pick and stuff like that and it kinda uncomfortable but it will pass..you prob. have a high motabolism and wont gain that much anyway..but if you really want to youcan try working out some and trying to boost your motabolism..i hope this helps

xokaylao2 answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 2:59 pm: Hey,
Yeah that is pretty skinny. Just eat more at your usual meals. You'll probably gain more weight that way. Eat until your full.
**much love**

mushoku answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 1:11 pm: If you're healthy, who cares what you weigh. OK, you do, and since you're not crying about being 2 pounds over weight, I think I can help.
Carbs. If you eat tons of fat and calories, but no or few carbs, gaining weight is almost impossible. Girl-scout cookies, bread, pasta, and any kind of grain, really.
But seriously, if you gain weight, it will affect your metabolism, so if you find it really hard to gain, and you're healthy, don't try too hard because it may start to go up faster than you want it to "practically over night." [ mushoku's advice column | Ask mushoku A Question ]
DrJenny answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 1:01 pm: Stop worrying, you are slim, NOT skinny. If you are happy with the way you look it doesn't matter what other peoples opions may be. If you receive any further comments I would just say,"really, sorry you have a problem with the way I look,I'm quite comfortable with it,thank you".
Your'e also still growing and in all probablity will gain a few extra pounds quite naturally. [ DrJenny's advice column | Ask DrJenny A Question ]
ncblondie answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 1:00 pm: You are a little underweight but not much. 120 will put you in the healthy range for your body but I wouldn't go more than 5 pouns past that.
Try exercising more. I know it sounds weird if you're trying to gain weight but muscle weighs more than fat so it's a healthy way to add pounds.
Adding more carbohydrates (breads, pastas) to your diet will help you gain weight. Just make sure to make them healthy carbs such as whole grain bread.
Teza answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 12:58 pm: Yea it does seem a bit too skinny. Are you at least eating healthy? Dont full up on junk food now to gain weight, I mean you still have to eat healthy. Eat more meats, the amount of servings you are supposed to a day. It will take some time but its better to gain weight the healthy way. ll ♥ ll [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]

JUST EAT EVERYTHING YOU CAN. YOU MUST EAT EVERYTHING IN SIGHT. Stop at nothing until you have eaten all you can. Eat even when you aren't hungry.
I hope that helped.

starburst31251 answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 12:46 pm: hey im 18 and almost 6 feet tall and weight 130 and i've had problems trying gaining weight because of my active lifestyle, but a way to gain weight without stopping sports and excersize is to eat more carbohydrates (pasta, noodles..) and if those dont become fat in your body they will be stored in your muscles and released as energy..and extra energy is not so bad haha. I think the weight you are at is healthy and at your height and body frame you could still put on ten pounds and still be healthy and not look huge..but whatever you do, stick to healthy food choices and dont turn to soda and candy to help gain weight cause that just makes your body worse
