a few days ago, my friend slept over at my house. she's worried about me because she thinks im starving myself!! i dont eat breakfast ; ususally have a pop tart or a bagel for lunch ; and mostly crackers for dinner. i dont think im starving myself.. but she does and my other friends are seeing it too. what do u think? im scared.. i dont want to be starved. please help .. ill rate high for good answers!!

But I don't, so I'll make do with what I have. It really depends on your build. If you're small, then you probably won't eat a lot. But everyone is different, I have a very tall, very skinny 12 year old friend, and she doesn't eat a lot. Then I have an average height, very skinny 12 year old friend that eats a TON. Then I have a veryyy short, very skinny 14 year old friend that weighs 100 pounds. See? It just depends on the build. If what you eat, fills you up, then you are fine. hollistertanlines answered Monday July 11 2005, 1:39 am: well your not *starving* your self.your just limiting your body to low in-takes of food.thats not really good for you or your body.you need to eat a good breakfast,something small for lunch,and something good for dinner.that way you wont gain a lot of weight but you wont look like youre starving yourself either.and its good that your friends are worried about you.it shows that they care.hope this helps.

You should try eating a breakfast, like a quick bowl of cereal and try having a sandwich for lunch, like PB&J. But if bagels and crackers are what you eat everyday and you don't get hungry thats probably just how you are..you get filled up easily. Hope i helped you

BUT..is that enough for you? If you don't feel hungrey all the time I wouldn't worry about it. Just try to eat like yogurt or something like that for breakfest then have a lil more then a pop tart or bagel for lunch, and eat MORE then crackers for dinner! poetqueen answered Sunday July 10 2005, 10:11 pm: some people just eat til there full if thats all it takes to make your tummy happy i dont see the problem alot of people dont eat breakfast and if your comfortable with the amount you eat then explain that to your friends i know all they do is care about your safety but if you are worried about it then just eat more. eat that bagel for breakfast and a sandwich and chips for lunch a small dinner is actually advised just do what makes you happy.hope i helped! Cause then that probablys mean you are.. but if you're just not not hungry alot ( cause I'm not either trust me.. I'm the same way. Not like with bagels and crackers, but I just don't eat alot... ) then you're probably not.. cause you ARE eating ; but you should eating bigger portions of stuff. And you're not getting enough nutrition..what I would do is try eat sandwhiches too and just little amounts of dinner and stuff ; and if you are hungrier..then have some more =) and fruits and vegtables are good to eat, cause you're getting nutrition and it's still a light food at the same time =) Hope I helped!!

Lunch maybe a sandwitch. and make sure you eat another meal for dinner. its also fine to have little snacks here and there too. But what you're doing is not eating enough.

Breakfast- Half bagel with light cream cheese, a fruit, and some canadian bacon or regular. (eat a semi big breakfast, it's the most important meal of the day)
Lunch- Sandwhich with wheat bread (or white), any type of lunch meat, cheese, lettuce, mayo, whatever you like on it. A pickle, some chips or pretzals, and a cookie.

Whole meals. and tell your friends not to worry and you dont mean to eat too little or whatever. BTW- eating breakfast is good for you. your friends really care for you, you should listen to them. And by that I mean you should eat like a big upsidown triangle. Breakfast is the MOST important meal. Eat a lot of it and eat less as the day goes. I promise if you eat like that you will not get fat.
When you don't eat you will eventually eat twice as much as you would usually eat because you are so hungry and you have those cravings. That's no good. And even if you didn't eat twice as much it's still a problem because you're slowly killing yourself.
Think about it. Your body NEEDS energy to function ALL day. Where does it get it? From food! So don't ever deprive your body from fuel to keep it going!

Especially the fact that you skip breakfast. You should eat a good breakfast because it gives you the energy for the day.(jeez I'm sounding like my mother lol) And you should have better lunches and dinners so you will have enough energy to do things.

breakfast? well a lot of people skip breakfast simply because they don`t have time for it or they sleep right through it. Breakfast just keeps the brain going and give it more knoledge for throughout the day.
you could have a slow dygestion system, which makes your body feel fuller throughout the day than what normal people`s do.. or maybe you drink a lot of water? that also causes you not to be as hungry when it comes to your meals.
either way, you are not starving yourself, unless you are purpusly trying too.. but you said yourself that your not.. so you aren`t!!
