so last year i started out in a group of friends. these people included sydney, dani, me, leah, and candice. half way through the year, sydney found out that she was going to have to move to seattle over the summer. and she has been my very close friend ever since second grade. (last year i was in 6th grade). so leah started to kind of get on all of our nerves, especially sydney, because leah would always gossip about us behind our backs. we all kind of didn't talk to leah because of this, so leah stopped hanging out with us and spread rumors about us to everyone else. meanwhile, candice was starting to hang out with this girl named paige...sort of a lot! so now me and dani are thinking that we are going to be alone next year because sydney will be gone and candice will probably ditch us for paige. well now dani is starting to hang out with leah a lot. and i really hate leah! they celebrated 4th of july together and they are going to this resort thing this summer too. i am worried that i will be put aside for leah next year, and i am scared because without sydney here, dani is my best friend. i mean i have other friends too, but they hang out with leah, and my other friends are super popular and i don't know if i want to hang out with the popular crowd..help!

MaRiEdownSOUTHsExI1598 answered Saturday July 9 2005, 9:11 pm: first of all i dont know why you hate leah, but i guess you have your reasons.but if it's because she talked about you behind your back, then that's typical for any girl in middle school or high schools. i have friends that do the same thing, but we all get over it. i suggest giving leah another chance. and if that doesnt work stay friends with the ones that you are friends with, but it's also ok to make new friends and hang out with different people. i hope i helped :/
