Irishdude405 answered Thursday July 7 2005, 12:15 am: Telling your parents to fuck off is deffinitly gonna get you grounded lol. But parents can get pretty frustrating and annoying as fuck after a while, but you still need to watch wat you say.
Keep it clean;)

MartiniKisses23 answered Wednesday July 6 2005, 11:54 pm: I think that is reasonable. I accidently told my parents that and I wasnt aloud to do anything for a month! so you are lucky. I kinda felt guilty after that though because they are my own parents. I hope I helped! ♥Andie [ MartiniKisses23's advice column | Ask MartiniKisses23 A Question ]

jeni_xoxo answered Wednesday July 6 2005, 11:50 pm: Well I don't know the situation but I think most parents would ground their kid for saying that. You should go to your parents and explain to them why it is that you felt that way and tell them why you said it. Do it in a calm rational manner and I'm sure they'll listen. I also bet that they'll take you off restriction.
Lil' tip I've learned.. as much as some of the things that your parents do may bother you, just bite your tounge b4 saying anything in return because all it's going to do is get you in trouble.
I'm here to talk if you want to.
LCyeahthatsME answered Wednesday July 6 2005, 11:42 pm: honestly, i really think that is fair. I mean thats like saying "i killed someone but i shouldn't be charged because my brother made me mad b4 i did it" as you grow older you need to learn to control your anger, if you just go through life blowing up at people when your mad...your not going to get very far and its likely that you'll lose a lot of friends. i know it slips every now and then but try to be mature and do the whole count to ten thing...just keep it inside...and stay calm!
xXxpinky615xXx answered Wednesday July 6 2005, 11:07 pm: Oh wow, 2 weeks? That's IT? If I told my parents to fuck off I'd get smacked, and then grounded until I was 32- No joke. You're pretty damn lucky it's only 2 weeks. So yes, I think it's fair. I'd ground my kid for longer than that if they said that to me, so you got off pretty easy. Shortie8959 answered Wednesday July 6 2005, 10:57 pm: Yeah, I think it's fair. You shouldn't lose your temper even if you are *pissed off*. But try being nice and doing stuff around the house, and maybe they'll unground you. And I understand how you feel. Parents can suck...lol! Hope I helped! ♥ Erin [ Shortie8959's advice column | Ask Shortie8959 A Question ]
MummuM answered Wednesday July 6 2005, 10:56 pm: Since it's probably your parents rules, I think it is fair. Even if you were pissed, you could have just ignored them, went to your room and could try to calm down a bit. Maybe next time that is what you should do :) But 2 weeks? Man. That is harsh for just saying that! Oh well, parents are parents I guess.
