Muscle isnt showing

Question Posted Wednesday July 6 2005, 10:49 pm

I work my abs a lot, and I definitely have a 6 pack underneath my stubborn belly fat. Im a normal weight for my age and height, Im 14/f/5'5" and 129 lbs. I'm a little chubby in my lower stomach and I dont know how do get rid of it and let my abs show. I can feel the muscles underneath but i cant see them. I'll rate high

yeah im kinda similar...girls tend to get a little pouch right under the bellybutton-idk i heard its something to do with protecting the baby during pregnancy. just keep doin ab excercise, but dont only do those excercises..because if you work on other things you also work your core (middle section) so try doing new excercises! hope it works!

Hi,
When I have the ambition to work on my lower stomach :) I lay down, put weights on my ankles, put my hands under my butt by the tail bone to support my back and lift my legs straight up as far as I can and bring them back down slowly but just so your heels do not touch the floor and repeat.
Hope this is helpful!

Not everyone is able to show off their six pack no matter how much they exercise; it all depends on how thick your skin is.

ok! i am a person wh o works out alot though i am still young ! i can give you some pointer!!

*run!! ( go on a 3 and half mile jog/run twice a week.... running helps your abbs!!)

**do sit ups and crunches they works both parts of the abs lowers and uper!!

*** when doin crunches put ur feet in the air and cross your legs !! and hands behind your head!! it makes it ever harder so you will have to push your self !!

**** do rows!!! sit in a sit up postion and dont let any part of your body touch except your butt have your legs in the air as if you were still goin sit ups and your under body and hands in the air and go forward and back but dont let your body touch the ground!!! it is hard when your first start!! it is like rowing a boat !! it is all one motion and can be tricky!!

***** do this 3 time a day!!! when you get up after lunch and before you go to bed!!!

******do 50 crunchs 50 sit - up and 25 rows 3 times a day !!! it will be really hard at first then it will get easier and the easier it comes temore you need to do!! by then end of a month you should be able to do 150 crunches 150 sit up and about 75 to 100 rows !!!

~HOPE I HELPED!!~
~if you need anything else feel free to ask away!!~

Females have a small layer of fat in the lower abdomen to protect the ovaries. That's one of the reasons flat up and down models are so unhealthy...they have little or nothing protecting their organs, especially the sensitive repoductive organs.

This may just be an age thing, too. Youre strong throughout your torso, but it may take a day week month year for the belly chub to come off, which sucks, but is one of the benefits of growing up. :)

Sorry there's no quicker fix, but keep exercising and it'll help your whole body and you feel better, regardless of if you can see the muscles.

Hey hun! I have the same problem. I'm 95 lbs (I know, it's not much), but I have like, this belly fat that I'm trying to lose, cuz I want abs, too. Just try doing a lot of crunches and sit-ups, and try running, too. Like, run around the block. Cut down on sodas, cuz they make you fat, and eat healthy foods, like fruits and veggies. Good luck! I hope I helped! ♥ Erin
