There's nothing wrong with eating. If you're hungry, eat! If you keep preventing yourself from eating when you're hungry, you could end up pretty sick.

dont ever deny your body of food, if it's there for you to eat. that is the one of the worst things you can do for your body. if yure hungry- EAT! there's no reason you should deprive yourself of food, unless there's none there to eat, which i doubt is the problem.

As long as you eat someting healthy, snacks are actually good for you. You need the energy, and the nutrition is a plus. Don't not eat snacks to lose weight.

Take your mind off food we live in America where its everywhere. But try doing a sport or somthing. Try going to run or jog or walk your dog and if you dont have a dog just walk around your block or somthing. Do your homework closer to dinner time. Hope i could help.

It's okay to eat a snack inbetween meals, most nutritionists would rather it. Just try and make it a healthy one. Such as an apple or a banana, or crackers with peanut butter or something. And then milk or juice or water to drink.

Or if you really really really want a way to keep your mind of food, you can listen to music and sing to it (lip sync if you can't sing) and then do your homework with the music and the singing in the background.
Unless you're one of those people who can't have noise or at least music on when doing homework.

Then I have nothing for you. Keep water or anything healthy to drink with you, maybe make a fruit smoothie. It's healthy, it tastes good, and it's not actually food, it's a drink.
Sometimes when you think you are hungary, you are actually thirsty or dehydrated. So everytime you're hungary just get something to drink, and if that doesn't hit the spot then eat a small snack. It's not going to kill you :-P
<3 always, Kate

It's normal to snack - why dont you just have healthy snacks, like fruit? They can give you a nice sugar fix too! I could never eat just 3 meals a day, I snack all the time, but it's normally on stuff like that. In fact I think dieticions say the healthiest way to eat is little and often.

elscorcho96 answered Monday May 30 2005, 5:22 pm:
Actually, a lot of nutritionists think that it's better to eat six small and healthy meals a day with healthy snacks in between than to just eat three meals a day. It helps you control how much you eat, keeps your metabolism up, and doesn't let you get so hungry that you end up binging on something large and unhealthy.

If you still want to do just three meals a day, try eating a yogurt or small salad when you get home. You don't need to eliminate snacks to lose weight, just the unhealthy ones.

Mandee answered Monday May 30 2005, 5:07 pm:
Well, a question that I wanna ask you is why do you not want to eat a snack? Snacks are important because they maintain your energy and keep you full until the next time you eat. And sometimes people who don't snack tend to eat more than they should when dinner time comes around. If you wanna stay healthy than just eat a healthy snack. There's nothing wrong with snacking. But if you strongly feel like you shouldn't then try making yourself a drink. Lemonade or ice tea? If you like those. And just sip some of that while working on your homework. But I hoentsly don't recommend neglecting what your body is telling you. If you are hungry the only way to solve that is to eat.

Good luck! If you need anything cleared up let me know!

Love,
Mandee

instead of having a snack, have a drink...water would make the most sense since it fills you up, and is good for your body. if you just have water or something like fruit, then you shouldn't want junk food snacks like chips, cookies, etc.
hope i helped.

mystical_breeze answered Monday May 30 2005, 4:44 pm:
I suggest doing what I do: Get a larger lunch with greens so it will be more filling, go on the computer while you do your homework so you will find more occupying things to do, and eat less carbs. Carbs usually taste really good, but do not fill your stomach and its needs. When you eat a salad though, it fills you up, and still keeps your stomach flat. Eating a salad for a snack shouldn't be a big problem, and try NOT eating every few hours.
