Okay so I'm thirteen years old and I just got my period yesterday. I was at a pool party that day and my friends gave me a tampon, instructions, and locked me in a bathroom trying to get me to put the damn thing in. It was ''regular'' size (Tampex with the yellow code or w/e) and it hurt soooooooooooooooo much! I had the tip in and then after that it hurt soo much, it wouldn't go in. I just bought Playtex ''Lites Junior'' or something and I'm too afraid to put it in. Help! (link)

Sorry but i have not started yet i am 12 and i think you should start with pads first and switch to tampons when you are ready or if you are going to be in the pool alot you should try to put a tampon in.

my moms best friends son is 14/m (hes going into 9th grade) and we went to dinner with them tonight and he was really quiet and while all the adults were talking and all the kids were running around he picked up his knife and started kinda sawing at the back of his hand and the second he saw that i saw what he was doing, he stopped. and later that night he asked if he could walk home to practice his guitar before they all got home (we are neighbors and we all live close to where we were having dinner but not close enough that most people would walk home right before a big thunderstorm) and when his dad said that they were all going home anyway he looked kind of mad. so i guess i have two questions, can you cut the back of your hand (like cutting suicide wise) and should i be worried about him like what should i do

Ok well I like this guy but the problem is, we havn't met in person yet. We've talked on the phone and computer but havn't met! And im like, So crazy about this kid its weird! I found a pipe and a lighter in my brother's draw. I was furious because I'm am strongly against smoking. He's in college...I understand he's old enough to make his own descisions, but he has a lot going for him and I don't want him to screw up his future....What are the possibilities of what he was smoking? I'm having my Sweet Sixteen party this month and I was wondering if you had any ideas for ways to keep my guests entertained during the 4-5 hour period. I'm holding it at my house, I have a buffet, a tiki bar, a seating area, music, and giant torches. The only activities I have planned are a candle lighting ceremony, and cutting the cake and opening presents (those will help waste time), then I decided to have a bellydancing contest (just for laughs), and then a hula-hooping contest. I have a friend named Felicia and she's 16/F...all she likes to talk about is beer, boys, parties, people she hates..i don't know..she tries to act like she's all grown up now or whatever...well this morning i wanted to go for a scooter run with my other friend hannah...she was like, "umm no, that's ok i don't wanna smell like sh*t" so hannah and me went for the scooter run anyway..we had tons of fun! we came in and felicia was like "eeww you guys smell get away from me.." and she avoided us the rest of the night..(but at least we had fun! all she did was stay in and watch court tv with the judges and stuff..grrr..it's like she's trying to impress people by acting that she's not 10 anymore..(this is just an example of how she acts *all that* and *grownup*...trust me, there's tons more! she always acts like she's better than us and i really don't know what to do..please help! i can feel what you are saying i had the same problem.If she acts like that and it gets to the point where you cant stand to be around her anymore then i think its best you just not be friends or talk it out.
