Rejection
I'm switching schools next year so I won't be going back. I want to admit to my guy friend that I have feelings for him. I like him alot but I know he likes another girl & she knows that. If I tell him how I feel, do you think things will be weird this summer if he rejects, since I planned on hanging out with him as friends anyways?

Acctually the same the happened to me but sorta flipped. I liked this guy Diego. He's from mexico and said he was only gonna be here for a year. He was really sweet and nice and a truely genuine person. WEll on the last day of school i gave him my number and said, Diego, i really like you, i have for a long time. i just wanted to tell you that. you dont have to like me i jsut wanted to tell you. well the next day he called me and said"Ava, i really like you too. It's just that im moving back to mexico and i dont wanna have a relations ship with a girl thats 10,000 miles away." i under stood well then a week later he found out that his father was staying because he got a huge job here in new york. So now we have been going out for 2 1/2 years and we are truely in love. So for you i dont think it would be any different. its fine things shouldn't change. I mean he will then know you like him so if he starts like ya your still there!!

It could be weird. Situations like that are always weird at first... unfortunatly.
I would tell him though. Say to him, I've liked you for a while now and with me leaving and all I wanted to let you know. I know you like that other girl, and I didn't say this to freak you out, or complicate things for you-- I just said it so I could leave knowing that I told you how I truly felt.
Something to that effect. I think it would do you good! And who knows... maybe a summer romance could spark!

Hmm..just hint to him, you can tell him though, if your leaving. But just go with your feelings! He'll say how he feels, and thats fine :D And you can tell him and still hang out, just dont over-do it, ya know?

Let me tell you the most obvious answer.
Honesty works.
It saves you from being all "crushing" and you know, if he does have feelings for you, you'll be glad you did.
Also, I'm sure that things won't be awkward at all because if he does "reject" you or wants to be friends, you'll have even more time to get over a "crush" and move on. You know?

I think you should tell him. Even if he rejects you he will still be your friend. If he isn't he wasn't a good friend to begin with. Remember good friends always stick together.

well it may be weird at first but if you have a strong enough friendship then it wont come between you. ive just left my school recently and one of my guy friends told me he had feelings for me and had done for years. well it was a bit of a shock at first but i love him to bits as a friend and hes a great guy so i wouldnt let something like that get in the way of our friendship.
