prom hair
I got my prom dress todaii and its strapless...do you think it would look better to have my hair in an updo or styled down?

well, to show off your shoulders/that it is strapless, do an updo, but if you want your hair to stand out and dont care if people know its strapless let your hair down :) but, im sure it will look pretty either way =D

If you're thin then you could wear it up or down it doesn't really matter, up would be good to show more skin if you wanted to but down would look pretty too.
If you're on the more heavy side, if you leave your hair down it'll draw attention away from your arms and shoulders as they will be covered.

If you have skinny arms and little bust wear it up to bring attention to the grace of your thin neck and limbs. If you're on the fleshier side- with thicker arms amybe or a larger bust, wear your hair down to draw attention to that area without bringing attention to your armpits. Fat armpits aren't attractive. The hair down look will give you the whole innocent virgin look. Hair up gives you more of a kind of classy, sophisticated look.

In my opinion, putting your hair up is best because it brings attention to your shoulders -which is probably what you want, since you went for a strapless- and makes you look more elegant and graceful. It will also be better for an updo if you are planning on wearing earrings and/or a necklace.

If your prom dress its strapless, then it would look better if you had your hair styled down because if you styled your hair up, too much skin would show. But if you want to wear your hear up, then do so but I would wear a necklace of some sort so your whole look will look better.

I think it would be best to have it down because if it was up there may be too much bare skin on show and that can look bad. If you must have it up, wear a necklace or something that balances it out.

Wear it in a bun! which strands of hair hanging down, Mabe curl them bits and it will look great.

I'd wear it up and show off your neck and shoulders with your strapless dress, for a sexy but formal look. Long hair can also end up looking a bit frazzled by the end of an evening dancing if you leave it down, so that's another reason to have it up and off your face.

depends whether you've got great shoulders to show off. seriously... are you in sports? ever lift weights? are you toned and hot and stuff? Then sweep that hair up and be proud! Personally, I have bony shoulders so I'd never even get a strapless dress, never mind wear my hair up to boot.

It depends what look you're going for. An updo would look more fun, like with a billion bobby pins all over the place and hair twisting (the awesome ways salons do that). But if you're going for elegant, have it down in long, flowy mermaid waves if you get what I mean. Either way it looks gorgeous!
