Karen answered Tuesday December 28 2004, 12:49 pm: Yup, it's normal, don't worry. Some people just develop late. If she doesn't have her period by the age of 18, then no, that's not normal. Hope I helped :)

S_C answered Tuesday December 28 2004, 8:09 am: If she is into sports or if she runs a lot or goes to the gym, or is a gymnast or cheerleader then it's completely normal to not even start until your 20s, but so far give it another year or year and a half then she NEEDS to see the doctor. I was just talking about this with a friend of the family who is 21, she didn't start hers until 16 almost 17 and she wasn't really into sports, she was just really petite and really healthy. The healthier you are, or the more active you are then the longer it'll take to get it. I'm 14 and haven't had it... I was anorexic for like 3 years and that had something to do with it. xluvinux answered Tuesday December 28 2004, 3:17 am: Yes, that's perfectly fine. Every girl starts at her own time. The only reason she should have to see a doctor is if she hasn't started by age 18. =)
