Little moments that the 3 of you shared that are special, and beside each picture write why you picked the picture and what the memoriy of the picture means to you.
I did this for my Mum last Christmas as she lives in Spain and I in the UK - It made her cry but it is one of her most treasured possessions.
It will be something for them to look at when they are having a grey day that will make them smile.
The other alternative is to make a book of vouchers.
For example THIS VOUCHER ENTITLES MUM TO A HOT BUBBLY BATH WHEN SHE GETS IN FROM WORK or THIS VOUCHER ENTITLES DAD TO 1 CAR WASH.
The great thing about this is that you can pick whatever you are willing to do - the only thing is, if you give out the vouchers make sure you can honour them!!!

Look for stuff around the house. And you could burn them cds of their favorite music. And be extra nice christmas day- make breakfast and all that jazz. Merry Christmas! They will see it every year and be proud of you. [ xoxlilshortyxox's advice column | Ask xoxlilshortyxox A Question ]

Hunnibunni23 answered Thursday December 23 2004, 7:21 pm: I think you should make *fun cards* what it is you need
-10 flash cards/notecards
-markers and glitter or anything to decorate
-and a basket or a hat of somesort
and what you can do is put a chore on each card and decorate it anyway you want. and they each can pick as many cards as they want such as like 3 or 4 cards and you do chores for them the rest of the day! Also, along with that you can make them breakfast-in-bed to! I did that for my parents one year and they loved it! I think I might do that another year again! I hope I helped! **Merry Christmas!** ♥Andrea [ Hunnibunni23's advice column | Ask Hunnibunni23 A Question ]
AdInA answered Thursday December 23 2004, 6:55 pm: make them breakfast/lunch/dinner! do things for them and write them a poem! when i didn't have money for presents, i would write my parents poems. they loved getting poems so they made me write poems for them every year, even when i did have money. lol write a poem that comes straight from the heart, and shows you really love them and are thankful for everything they have done for you. if you aren't too good at writing poems, then write them letters! DrAnqel answered Thursday December 23 2004, 6:47 pm: Christmas morning, make them coffee or tea, and make some cookies/brownies/whatever. They're your parents, they just want you to be happy really. If they're hard-working, let them get a lot of sleep. Little things add up. Good luck, hope I helped. Merry Christmas. -Angel [ DrAnqel's advice column | Ask DrAnqel A Question ]
Shortie8959 answered Thursday December 23 2004, 5:07 pm: There're websites you can go to that show you how to make candles. What would be a cute gift is an ornament that you make yourself, like put a pic of you in it. Good luck!
Happy Holidays!
Hope I helped!

Karen answered Thursday December 23 2004, 4:39 pm: Well a few years ago, I made my parents one of those coupon books where it would say "Mow the lawn", "Clean my room", "Help clean around the house", "Watch my siblings", and etc. Why don't you do something like that? Parents love those kinds of things that have to do with services! Hope I helped :)

S_C answered Thursday December 23 2004, 4:28 pm: Well, someone else asked that and I'll tell you what I told her, coupons. Like back in 5th grade when you made those things that said... I'll mow the lawn once for free, I'll do all chores on day for free, I'll wash the car for free... things like that. You can also do things such as breakfast. What me and my friend did one year for mothers day was we called up Kiss 95.1 (a popular radio station where we live) and we wished them a happy mothers day. Also one year me and my friend made lunch for our parents. I hope I gave you some ideas to think about. Good luck and happy holidays! [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]

If you have popsical sticks make them a manger/log cabin, something simalar to that. If some cleaning needs to done around the house, wake up eariler then them and clean up a room, or part of somethin.make a big "i love u"or "merry christmas"sign and put it by the presents or in their room. make a nice card for them w/ your best drawing in it. get some pictures of yourself, and make a small colage(i didn't spell that right, but its a clutter of pictures). try bakeing some treats 4 them(if u can cook). Thank you for helping me, cause i was in the same situation as u were. hope i helped. Merry christmas
xokristabelle answered Thursday December 23 2004, 4:10 pm: What I did was make my mom a picture frame, you'll need a wood picture frame and a few colors of acrylic paint, all available at Walmart. The frame will be about 3 bucks and the paints are 87 cents a bottle. Paint the frame and decorate it. Put a picture of you guys with a mushy card.
Or bake them something yummy.
Or make an IOU book: IOU a car washing, a starbucks, breakfast in bed, etc...
AdviceMistress answered Thursday December 23 2004, 4:03 pm: make them a card or maybe make a frame and put a picture of you or your whole family! i bet anything you get them they will love! happy holidays!
