Im a christian.
But i feel like, i need to do something to make my prayers heard. Or something its really hard to explain, i almost feel like i have no connect with god.
How do i become a "better" christian?

You jsut have to have faith..dont feel like your the only one..not hearing from God..Abraham didnt hear from God for almost 15 years..then God spoke to him...you just have to have faith...God is hearing everything your saying...read your bible that answers all your questions! There have been many times where im talkin to God...and im like God i need you..i need u too tell me wut am i suppose to do..and he always provides...you dont even know it...but he does...he will never let his children down..or have them feeling lonely! Becoming a better christian means..being strong in the word..know what God can do...and the best way to learn all that is ..READ THE HOLY WORD...well i pray i have blessed u.. be blessed

My cousin lives far away and I get to see her like maybe two months a year well the last time I saw her she said that she has done to many things for God to love her and so she has became an atheist. I don't know what to do except pray but I feel like I need to do more for her. Every time I ask a question on this website no one gives me good answers that I can relate to so please don't let me down! (link)

pray pray pray but you need to start witnessing o her look up alot of bible verses that say God loves you no matter what youve done he will still love you! talk to her and maybe pray with her if things start to improve

Okay this may sound really dumb or something but it really needs to be answerd cause i really need the help.My friend had wanted to kill herself and then her mom had put her into a center to get the help that she needs(good for her!!).But the problem is that she is on drugs and she drinks a lot and she is only 12 or 13 years old.Well i tries to kill myself a few weeks ago and now i'm fine but my question is that should i be her friend still and hang out with her even though that she wanted to do something that i tried?Cause my fear is that she will want me to think of doing that again?Plzz help.

no you DONt need to be friends with her because she will drag you down if she trys it again to!! try and find a new friend who is a christian and that can make you feel good about your self and maybe talk to someone about when you tryed to commit suicide PRAY PRAY PRAY

youre going to have to ask the Lord to help you on this one and you shouldnt be scared to witness about someone you truly love if your friends dont accept that your a christian then their not your true friends!!

my parents get mad at me whenever i say something about religion that doesnt agree with their views. they tell me im to young to have an opinion about that kind of stuff. and i do. and im not that good at communicating. so should i just tell them that i believe in god? even though i have doubts?

yes you should tell your parents that you wont to have GOD in your life and if they still dont agree with you ask GOd to help you out believe me he will be at your side!!

im totally a christian its like this everytime you get the urge put in some christian music it works or just stop getting online period but the christian music works or wherever your computer is put a bible rigt by the mouse so everytime u wanna look at it you will think of GOD and you wouldnt be tempted!! try it

Ok so I need some opinions on this really LONG love question... It has 2 parts... This first part is that I need to pick between two guys.
Guy #1- We're going out, he's really sweet and nice and i like him, sometimes. My friends all like him because he doesn't want to hurt me and he has never made me cut myself (yeah- i cut) We've only known eachother for about a month, and the only reason I know him is because I was jealous of my friend, who was going out with the guy I liked at the time. Him and I are very much the same, and are very shy around eachother. I barely see him in school, but he really likes me.
Guy #2- I'm secretly in love with him. He's kind of a jerk, and he acts nice to you and then will say something horribly offencive to you in the same sentance. He's absolutly gorgeous, and more popular then me. He lead me on beofre, and my friends blame him for making me cut once. They all think he's a jerk, but I really like him.
Who should I pick?
The second part is that today, I am supposed to call #2. Atleast he wants me to, or so he told me last night. I am very intrigued, and I think I may call him. My best friend, the only other person who knows about this, says that I should call #1 and break it off with him before I call #2. But I don't know if I should becuse, #2 might hate me, and i don't want to be single right now, and have to explain to my friends why I broke it off with #1. So what should I do? (link)

guy #1 if he makes you feel good about your self and doesnt make you wanna cut u should go wit #1 AND YOU Shouldnt care if he is popular it isnt ahat your friends think it is what you think and if #1 is sweet nice and is kind to you go wit him !!

well the truth is Scott likes you or it either is he is jealous you got another male in your life the same thing happened to me a girl that i previously liked now we are best friends got a boyfriend and somehow we got in a arguement and i knew why i was mad but she didnt so thats why he is doing that so the solution is to just talk to scott and ask him why he is so funny about u a havin a boyfriend eventually he will say he has feelings for you!!

I apologize in advance for the potential length of this post.
Lately, I have been having trouble with my father. It seems like he's taking every opportunity to ruin every chance at happiness that I ever had. I normally wouldn't care, but he's really effecting my relationships with other people and my potential opportunity to get into a good college, which is really important to me.
Since I'm only fourteen, I have no way to move out without his complete consent, and I have considered moving in with my mother in San Francisco, but she is physically abusive toward me, so that really eliminates itself as an option.
He's making me feel worthless and like I'm a horrible human being and I don't know what to do. He's called me a slut, a liar, a failure, and a sociopath. Someone please help me. (link)

well you know you cant move in with your mom so someway try and make things better with your dad get some music and go to your room and just listen to music that makes you feel good about your self or you can try and talk to your dad and tell him what is going on and about your future!!!

Is is normal for the average teenager (only child) to cry at least once a day when she's by herself in her room. And being an only child has a big issue. I came to realize that I cry everyday. Sometimes more than once. I do it in private though because I don't want people to see me. I guess my biggest reason is my parents, and the fact that I'm sick of being the center of their lives...I've gotten to the point where I feel a lot of pain in me, but I can't take it out on anyone but myself. It all seems really stupid, because it all comes from my parents. They don't beat me, and they're not necessarily "overprotective" or anything, I just hate being the only one they have to worry about... I've gotten to the point where I don't know what to do. I can't even tell them I want to seek professional help, which is what I really want--thats how distant I feel. I don't know what to do.... (link)

well sometimes u just cant hold back the tears but i have cried a few times just about life dont cry to much try to think about something that just is fun and maybe try and talk to your parents and get a close friend who is sometimes like a brother or sister that would help too!!

well its like this if he flirts with many other girls while he supposly liking you what kind of signal is he sending you!! i think u need too just stay friends with him because he doesnt look like he can be very serious in a relationship!!
