calcium Does anyone know some type of food that would give me more calcium? I heard that the age i am (15) is one of the most important to get more of it. I HATE milk, and dont really like yogurt or cheese. I am afraid I might get osteoporosis when i get older. HELP!!

I think you should go to the grocery store and look at the nutrition facts on everything in the whole store. Do this until you find something you like with high calcium. ]
Orange juice. And if you want even more calcium, put milk in orange juice. I know that sounds gross, but it is REALLY good. It kind of tastes like an orange julius. ]
If you dont' like foods with calcium in them, just buy some calcium pastilies (Just like multivitimins). Take one a day and forget your worries! Hope I helped,

take calcium pills recommended by a doctor and i hear bok choy which is a chinese vegatable has calcium too. and drink orange juice that has calcium in it. ]

There's a buncha cereals out there that advertise 'more calcium!' so you could eat that dry and there's some orange juices that have more too! or you can take calcium pills but eh i wouldn't highly recomend it. Good luck!

don't take calcium tablets or any vitamin supplements. It's been shown that the people who take these end up with a disorder even worse than osteoporosis. Too much calcium is not a good thing, only take what your doctor recommends. ]
get some of those calcium chews that taste like chocolate ]
my sister hates milk too and she takes these viactive calcium chewable things and they taste like chocolate, or you could get this stuff called yo-jay (i think thats how you spell it it might be yo-j but im not sure) it tastes good and it is high in calcium, it tastes a little bit like yogurt but not too much.

You can buy orange juice with calcuim in it. I buy that and I like it better thsn most calcium sources. I hope I helped! ]
Dark green leafy vegetables have more calcium than any dairy product. Orange juice does not naturally have calcium (though everyone keeps recommending it). The only OJ with calcium are the brands where it has been added, and will be listed as such on the carton. Broccoli, spinach, etc are excellent sources of calcium - superior to dairy, and more bioavailable. ]
okay this is what you do...my mom takes these calcium pills that sound really nasty but i tryed one one day and what do yu kno if yu like oranges or the taste of oranges yu will like them...i hope i helped and sorry if yu dunt like oranges ]
Ok if you hate milk and u don't really like cheese and yogurt try ice cream with all natural flavors. Also I no nobody likes pills but once I had some brown chewy pills they tasted good. And you only take on a day so that is pretty good! Also try some sandwiches with cheese in it maybe you wont even taste it!hope i helped!ask me more Questions! ]
Orange Juice has calcium just drink lots of OJ and look on the back on the nutrition facts and it tells you how much calcium is in that carton of OJ ]

Well if you hate the three main sources of calcium, I guess you could always take some kind of supplement pill. ...Or you could eat Balance Bars...I think they've got a lot of calcium, and they're healthy. ]
