i suffer from Acid reflux and irritable bowel and im only 13..i take prilosec for my reflux and fiber for my irritable bowel..my question is if i eat something like pizza which i havent had pizza in almost a year..will it hurt? cause i get indigestion soo freekin bad and feels like a heartattack...i have lost about 30lbs because i hardly eat anything..and i feel kind of weak..i eat alot of meat and stuff but no greasy, spicy, or fried stuff...another question is..is it possible that i could go annerexic if i hardly eat anything?

Anorexia is a disease. You're not anorexic unless you are personally saying "I don't want to eat, it will make me gain weight." It doesn't sound like you are.

Anyway, you should talk to your doctor about a suitable diet.

Some times my pubic hairs kinda hurt when i pull them, so i yank them out and they have this sort weird sticky white thing on the end. after i pull them out it doesnt hurt there any more. this happens every once in a while and i yank em because if i dont it hurts to touch there. anyone know waht these are? i call them evil hairs.

Hah, uhm. The white on the end is called the ROOT darling. As for the hurting ... well, sometimes if you're wearing tighter underwear (boxer briefs, briefs), your hairs get pushed back against your skin. Then it hurts when they're free to do whatever, because they've been in that position for so long. I know it's the same way with the hair on your head .. have it parted one way and try to part it the other, it hurts.

my best friend just called me 2 minutes ago. I was over her house earlier but her Dad said I couldnt stay for dinner which is weird because i do alot. Im practically part of their family. But anyways, my friend calls me and goes, "My mom has breast cancer." Then she had to go but she promise she`d call me back. PLEASE help! Anyone. I need something to say to her - Im crying because her mom is like so close to me and my family. I have never been through this and i dont know how to comfort her. ♥

My ex-boyfriend's mum has breast cancer. He was really depressed for a while, but the most you can do is just BE there. And let her know you're there, and that you aren't afraid to talk about it. I think the only serious conversations I had with my ex were during that time period when she went back into remission.

Don't focus on it, darling. I mean, don't REPRESS it, but don't focus all your time on it. It's just going to bring you down. It's NOT a bad thing to go out and forget for a while.

Does anyone know some type of food that would give me more calcium? I heard that the age i am (15) is one of the most important to get more of it. I HATE milk, and dont really like yogurt or cheese. I am afraid I might get osteoporosis when i get older. HELP!!

Orange juice. And if you want even more calcium, put milk in orange juice. I know that sounds gross, but it is REALLY good. It kind of tastes like an orange julius.

hows does a person shed some weight quickly?? ive been trying to lose weight for along time now and nothing seems to work. i work out 3 hours a day and that doesnt help much either.. and im not good for holding diets. i do eat healty thou... any advice?

and my friend has bulemia.. im trying to help her.. how can i help her stop and how on earth does she make her self throw up?

First question ... mild excersize, NOT hardcore three hours a day excersize. It's been proven that working yourself slowly for thirty minutes a day is BETTER than anything else. Also drink milk before you excersize.

Second question, you won't be able to stop her. It's a disease. If you're really worried .. well, try to convince her to go to a doctor. Bulimics can make themselves throw up lots of ways .. sticking things down their throat to kick in the gag reflex is probably the most popular, but sometimes if you do that too often, it doesn't work anymore. And then you can punch yourself in the stomach to make yourself throw up.

Yes. When you're not eating, your body has to find nutrition SOMEWHERE. It usually takes it from the fat storages. However, when you do start to eat again, your body wants to replenish ASAP, and most of the fat WILL be stored again. The best way to lose weight and keep it off is mild excersize.

i like to wear my hair up in a bun or pony tail but my mom is soooo annoying about it. she says that i hav beautiful hair and i should wear it down. i keep telling her wen i wear my hair down i get really hot (like today i got out of the shower and i felt sick i was so hot). any suggetions?

Hi there, I'm 14 years old and I have a problem with self harm. It used to be controlable, but now it's an addiction. No one else knows, and I don't know how I can stop, because it's getting really bad. How do I control it??

My psychiatrist did these things to help me control the problem:

1. Give whatever you cut with to someone you trust. I gave mine to my mum.
2. If you cut to see blood, or it makes you feel better to see blood, take a red marker to your wrists/wherever instead. The illusion is seeing the red marker on your skin :)
3. If you do it for the pain, snap a rubberband whenever you feel the urge. The sharp burst of pain will keep you satisfied for a little bit.
4. When you feel like cutting, do something else that you really enjoy. Mine was reading.

I have really straight dark brown hair..When I blow dry my hair i have little fly aways.. so I straighten it a little... so then my hair is even straighter then what it normally is... But.. I would love to have like wavy curly hair.. is there any products i could use to make this happen without having to get a perm or doing something that will make it that way forever?

Wash your hair, and when you do your conditioning, apply a lot and leave it to set for a while. Then let your hair air dry until it is damp. Set your hair in curls for the night (not heat curlers!). In the morning, take the curls out and run your fingers through your hair (wet fingers work better) until it's waved to your liking. They even have really cheap curlers at stores like Target that are funny-shaped and meant for waving your hair and not curling.

well i ordered the
Farouk CHI Transformation System Home Support Kit stuff and i thought it would straighten my hair because on this one website it had info on it and it gave me the impression that it would straighten my hair but it didnt and it was 40 bucks and i have really curly hair and i it didnt do anything but i found out that it just makes it shiny and stuff so i have it and i dont kno what to do with it could i return it *it was off a website and i ordered it from california and i live in florida* and does any one know something else that would straighten my hair and make it stay *i have really really curly hair* could some one give me websites and names thanks alot

Well. Keep it, I suppose. It could help you later. To get rid of curls, there are solutions you can find in stores that will semi-permanately straighten your hair. They're kind of expensive though. My older sister just buys a regular perm solution, puts it in, and brushes her hair straight. It sets it straight, just like the straightening perm would do. Sometimes her hair still goes a little wavy, so she just straightens it further with a straightener.

panic attacks can you feel sick with them lifeless dizzy as though you are going to pass out can you help me please

Panic attacks are more gripping then what you're describing ... Personally, for me, I can't catch my breath, my heart speeds up, my face gets flushed, my chest starts to hurt, and I get dizzy. I always feel like I'm going to die or something, it's very scary.

I'm pretty sure that I have at least borderline obsessive-compulsive disorder, but where symptoms are listed, the requirements are kind of vague. If anyone who knows more about it could give me a hint as to my own state(severity, etc.), I'd appreciate it. I'll list some symptoms. Note that this if going to be rather long, even though I've cut out a lot of detail and examples.



Hand washing - I'm... fairly obsessed... with dirty-ness... if I touch something that I think might be dirty, then I wash my hands before touching anything clean and/or at the first opportunity. A year or so ago I counted myself as washing my hands ninety times in one day, and I'm sure that it's gotten significantly worse since then.

Arrangement - I like to arrange things that I'm looking at neatly. For example, yesterday I had six bittorrent windows open, and I arranged them in a perfect grid; the top left one's top left corner was exactly on the top left corner of the screen, and all the others were exactly aligned with it(no overlap or space whatsoever between edges, corners touching).

Counting - I'll count repetitive noises. Not all of them (not keystrokes, walking footsteps, etc.), but I'll always count stairs-steps and some other noises.

Perfectionism - but only in things I care about. Not really significant, but I've been known to spend hours on a minor detail of a bad drawing.

Paranoia - I worry that people may be watching me, and about hidden cameras and suchlike. I keep all my sensitive(for example, pirated) files in triple-encrypted archives with very long passwords and worry that the government might have a quantum computer, with which such a password could easily be broken.

Random **** - sometimes I'll feel compelled to do something, for example tapping my fingers in a pattern or sequence until I get it exactly right. A minute before I started writing this I selected some icons in an order. Then I worked out on paper how to work the sequence exactly backwards and did so because I needed to balance the select-ing to put my mind to rest.

I have OCD, it sounds like you might too. But you should try to see if you can easily resist the urge to do those things. With an OCD, it is nearly impossible, the frustration you feel is VERY strong. And if you feel that these symptoms interrupt your daily life, you should see a doctor who can diagnose you.
