I have really straight dark brown hair..When I blow dry my hair i have little fly aways.. so I straighten it a little... so then my hair is even straighter then what it normally is... But.. I would love to have like wavy curly hair.. is there any products i could use to make this happen without having to get a perm or doing something that will make it that way forever?
Judy101 answered Monday February 21 2005, 8:16 pm: You could buy scrunching gel so whenever you take a shower, take the towel and scrunch your hair until it is almost dry but not fully, then take the gel and scrunch it again. It will come out beautiful and guys will love it because looking the same everyday is not attractive. If your hair is really thick then it might not come out the way you planned. The scrunching gele that i use is a Pantene brand. [ Judy101's advice column | Ask Judy101 A Question ]

sohojules26 answered Monday February 21 2005, 1:23 pm: Yeah, my hair is really straight also. Don't straignthen your hair after you blow dry it, those fly aways are only there because your hair isnt COMPLETELY dry yet, and yeah. =P Get a big curling iron and then just loosely curl it with that, and use hair spray!! :) Hope I helped!!

But you HAVE TO BE SURE to use extra conditioner other wise your hair won't be pretty, just a bird's nest!! Hope I helped!! [ supastar112's advice column | Ask supastar112 A Question ]
EpAsh2010 answered Monday February 21 2005, 11:33 am: There are some straighteners with different plates. Some To Make Your Hair Wavy.
Get one of those, or after you get out of the shower (*or when your hair is wet*) scrunch it a lil with your fingers. When it drys then it should be wavy/curly! Hope I helped..
Karen answered Monday February 21 2005, 11:27 am: Yes, you can buy products by Aussie or Bed Head to use so you can make your hair wavy and curly. Instead of buying these products, why don't you scrunch your hair? It's really simple. When you get out of the shower, unwrap the towel from your head and put moose in your hair. You then bend your head down and take both of your hands and then scrunch your hair (you grab a part of your hair and squeeze your hair) in parts. Then you can do it again but with gel. There are other ways to scrunch your hair also. Hope I helped :)

You probably have such pretty hair! My hair is as curly as a thick wooly mammoth!! lol...Ok but curly hair and wavy hair is nice. After your shower, put your hair wrapped up in a towel to dry. Waiit like not even 5 minutes. Take it out and start combing your hair. Then, apply some gel or pantene stuff you can buy at like Wal-mart or somewhere. Scrunch it with your hand. Now since you have really straight hair, you can use the diffuser. See now I can't, my hair is wayy too curly :(. If you don't know what a diffuser is, its a part that you attach to the end of the blow dryer. It makes your hair have more volume. If your mom blow drys her hair, you can ask to borrow hers if she has one. Thats pretty much it. If you need more help, you know who to ask ;)

XoKisSesoX answered Monday February 21 2005, 11:22 am: I have that same problem. What I use is a product called Curl Booster. You can find it at any drug store. You can spray it on your hair when it is wet or dry. Once I get out of the shower I spray it in my hair. Then I put it up in a messy bun and spray my hair again. I go to bed with my hair like that. When I wake up in the morning I leave my hair down and spray it again. Then my hair is wavy curly.
LostAngel answered Monday February 21 2005, 11:22 am: when you get out of the shower..keep ur hair in a towel...after a few minutes take it out..even ur part out WITHOUT brushing it..take some moose rub it on your hands and then scrunch your hair..then throw some gel in there as well in the same process with what you did with the moose..then spray it with hair spray for the stuff your didn't get with the gel or the moose..such like bangs or some sort
Teza answered Monday February 21 2005, 11:21 am: after you take a shower towel dry ur hair then take some moose and scrunch ur hair a lot and it will get curly and then put a lil hairspray so it stays longer! x0 [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
mysticpixie05 answered Monday February 21 2005, 11:16 am: get some gel and put it on your wet hair, blow dry it while you are scrunching it. put more gel on when its dry and srcunch some more. use the hair dryer to dry the gel. if your hair dryer has a difusser attachment, use it. if not, then dont worry about it. its not necessary to have it. it just helps a little. but your hair will still scrunch. let me know if ya need any more help.
Also, if you dry it upside down with your head flipped over (down)it will give it a fuller look. [ mysticpixie05's advice column | Ask mysticpixie05 A Question ]
