too young?
Ok, well, i've been looking around advicenators and stuff. I noticed all these kids between ages 13-15 are so damn caught up on sx and shit. Well, for you to know, I'm 13, and in my town people are so layed back. It's a really small town. I know almost like everyone in the middle school which are ages 12-15. No, one does any of that shit. They all think it's stupid at this age. You never have to worry about having sex at the right time and when. Everyone is like a virgin in my school. I was really confused and distirbed about this......do you think 13-15 is to young to be having sex or not? I'm so confused. Is there something in my town that we're not getting?

Ok, well where i live a sixth grader got preggy so i dont know if i can give you the "right" advice. But i honestly think its too young. You dont want to end up pregnant and you still dont have a high school diploma. And sex should be shared with someone you really care about, not that im necissarily saying to wait till your married or something, because i most certainly am not. But just wait till you think you really like this person. And then again, maybe if you are 13-15, if he's the one then go for it. But be aware of all the consequences!

I totally agree. I do think that kids of the ages 12-15 are way too young! i myself am 14 and still havent even done it yet, and don't plan on it either. But i think that alot of people tend to do it because their either bored or just think it will make them feel better that their not a vergin anymore. i don't really know, but there's nothing special missing in you town don't worry.

My town is the same way, but some towns are rougher and more unfortunate. This is normal. Don't worry.

no I totally agree with you! some of my friends arnt virgins! (im a freshman) and like a tun of people do too much stuff, and thats what alot of people want, and if they cant get that they'll take anything that they can get, and i dont like that. i dont think that you should do anything unles your dating, and have been for a while.
and as for sex, thats OUT OF THE QUESTION until marage in my book!

I think it's way too young. Your town sounds like a wonderful place to grow strong in body and heart. In most places now parents and neigbors are too wrapped up in their own life to care or provide protection properly for their children. To allow a child to be a child for as long as possible. In most places now kids are forced to grow so fast that even the one's being raised well and lovingly are peer pressured into keeping up with the others. It's not a healthy way to live mentally or physically. This is my belief in why you see so much pain on this web site and so much distructive misuse of young bodies and emotions. Concider yourself blessed that your town "gets it" right. It's the rest of the world that's spinning too fast and not allowing Her children to develop properly.

I do think 13-15 is too young to be having sex. Not from the moral aspect, just that sex has serious consequences, emotionally and sometimes physically, and at 15 or under, you're just not mentally ready and able to accept the responsibility that comes with sex.

Sex isn't stupid. Sex is a beautiful and natural thing, and I think that it's the partners' choice whether they want to have sex or not. I'm sure that there are tons of virgins at middle school, but wait till highschool. It'll change. You can have your own opinion, and I have mine.

iT kiNda depends on people's morals and stuff... mOst people would agree that 12-15 is to young to have sex... but your growing up at this age and kids find a need 2 fit in or do what everybody else is doing. and plus your body is changing and your hormones are out of control so kids "feel the need" to hook up... personally i don't see anything wrong hOOkiN up!... but i know what you mean... i'm sick of 12, 13 year old sluts! haha! gOOd pOinT hUnny!

It really depends. My opinion is 12-15 is way too young. I think you should wait till you really really love some1. at ages 12-15 you should be having fun, going to parties, chillin w/ friends. you know?

I think its too young, but you got to understand that these kids grow up in this environment. They are used to everyone having sex when your young. Besides, you never know if someone in your town is lying and have had sex. People surprise you. I think it's better to not have sex when you are young. It's just too much drama otherwise.

i think that is too young. i wish my school was like yours.. i might be the only virgin in my freshman class! just think of the consequences you'll have when u have sex and don't protect yourself. you could get a sexually transmitted disease or even pregnant. i don't think any girl that young is ready for that! you're lucky to live in such a great town. hope that helped ya! :o)

if anything, your town is smart :)! i think 12-15 year olds shouldn't be having sex. i think it's nasty for a 12 year old to be sexually active. bleeehh!! that's my opinion. it's really good for people in your school to be virgins + not baby mommas + baby daddies! lOl
