well i weigh like 230 and im only 14 and i want to lose weight b4 high school cause of the formal plus i want to lose weight b4 my prom and prom is probably gonna b n may..well i need sum tips and stuff on how i can lose weight and how to eat right cause i have a eatn disorder to..i want to get over it..It Is driving me crazy. i want to get my belly button periced and stuff and wear a 2 peice during the summer and wear lil clothes not be fat

I stay away from anything with starch (bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, chips,) or processed sugar(donuts,cakes,pies, cookies, ice cream).....now, I know that sounds boring, but you can eat all you want of meat, cheese, vegetables, nuts, diet coke, fruit. You can go to any restaurant and order off any menu. Even fast food places will make a hamburger without bread. If you will try this for a week, you will feel like a different person, and you won't be hungry. I'm convinced that junk food has additives in it that MAKE us crave more of it....kind of like a drug, that's why we over eat!
Eat all that you want, just remember, no bread or sugar. I even have pizza, but I just eat the cheese and topping, and I always have a salad to fill me up. When you give up bread and things that are baked, you aren't "bloated", and you feel satisfied. Try some of the sugar free puddings and jello, or make a shake in the blender with ice, fruit, and sweetner for dessert.
I have stayed the same size since high school, and I'm 48 now. I do blow it once in a while, but the next day I go right back to my method of eating. It's easy because I don't have to think about a "diet".
BeFABULOUSxo answered Saturday December 25 2004, 10:57 pm: well.. what im about to say isnt goin to guarantee anything. i am a 13/f and i, as well as most girls, am concious about my weight. make up a chart. have all excersizes(like crunches, push, ups, laps ran, etc.. )on one side and time/amount done on another.. it mite not make sense but read it a few times lol. then.. everyday.. look at the day before and see if you can top your goal. as for food. cut out chocolate lol fruits and veggies are good but NO chocolate. holidays are tough i no but stick to it. jus remember.. if your gonna do all this work and then pig out once.. all ur work's goin to have been a waste. Ive been on it for about 3 months and have lost 30 pounds. But i dont do the diet hard core every day i do it bout 3 days strict diet then on the 4th day i have whatever i want but i dont pig out. Firstly the key is not to go on a diet like the southern beach one. It works but is a quick fix, wihch means you won't stay that way. You can gain the weight back on as soon as you get off it. Which isn't good.

It literally summarises anything you want to know. Don't take any tablets unless they are prescribed by your doctor. If they were that great- we'd all be using them. They are just an illusion but don't fully work.

truadvice answered Friday November 26 2004, 11:15 pm: you can have 3 complete meals or 8 small snack like meals like carrots and low fat dip , stay away from soda but its ok to have it sometimes because you need caffeine or else you will become extremely tired . eat what your body tells you but portion it , like a piece of cheese is no bigger than your fist ( portion everything acording to your fist ). the french do this and thats why there so thin , exersise 3 times a week 20 - 45 minutes . if you cant break the candy/junk eating its ok , eat them in the morning so threw out the day they will burn up , if you eat them at night they just lay there and theres no way you'll burn them up . go to sleep for at least 8 hours because if you get less sleep than that you tend to eat more because your tired and aren't really paying attetion to what or how much you are eating . you should look for a exersise rediment that targets the areas you want to get smaller . it takes a long time lose a signifigant amount of wieght , if you start on diet and exersise right away till the summer you will be able to wear what ever you want . good luck !! Sherry answered Friday November 26 2004, 10:46 pm: Losing weight takes time, but I'm sure you could lose a lot for freshmen year!! I think you just need to lower your portions. Cut your meals in half, only have 3 meals a day, no! snacks in between, no junk food, only drink water/crystal light, dont eat after 8:00 PM. Walk for 45 minutes everyday! Do not drink soda or juice. If you cut back those 2 things, you will easily lose like 6 lbs in a week! Dont be discouraged if it takes sooo long to lose the weight. It'll take time but just be patient and stick to it! AsKmE135 answered Friday November 26 2004, 10:28 pm: Sometimes being overweight is genetic b/c u have a slow metabolism and it would be really hard to get exactly to the perfect weight.. but you can try, here are some tips:
Make sure u dont starve urself!!! (when u starve urself, ur brain sends messages to ur body to store all its fat, b/c it thinks its gonna need it for energy!!) Make sure u eat 3 meals a day.. but make them healthy, low-fat, meals. Like veggies and fruits and stuff. For breakfast you could eat a bowl of cereal, like cheerios.. For lunch try a turkey sandwich (whole wheat bread).. for dinner you could eat some veggies and maybe like fish or chicken (not fried!! and dont eat the skin). Also grapefruit juice and green tea help speed up your metabolism so you could dry drinking a cup of either one every day.
As for exercise, they say u should be getting 20-30 minutes of exercise 3 days a week. But considering you are trying to lose a lot of weight, u need to exercise more. Maybe like 45 mins to an hour 5 days a week, or more. Run around your neighborhood, do sit-ups, push-ups, jump rope, play basketball, etc. A great way to exercise is to get a tredmill or something and do that in front of the TV. Just make sure u are working ur hardest and ur heartrate is fast the whole time. You should feel exhausted by the time you are done.
Do all of the above on a regular basis, and after 3-weeks it will all become a habit.
Whatever u do, i wouldnt suggest taking any weight-loss pills. You might get hooked on them, and then once u lose all the weight and come off the pills, u will most likely gain all the weight back.
