RICE! Ok I'm addicted to rice!! All I eat is rice, I don't know how to get out of this rut! I won't eat all day long and then come home from school and pig out of a huge bowl of rice! It's to the point where I just eat it all and barely taste it, I want to get out of this habit! Any tips?? I have tried to cut it out cold turkey I will last about a week and then cave and pig out.

hey, a fellow Canadian. lol, yes, i know. I don't eat all day, and then i come home and eat a big bowl of rice as well. lol. It is addicting. And it's not like it's unhealthy or anything. Your getting a serving or 2 or 3 (oh well ... however much you eat) of grain. Just as long as you leave room for vegtables, fruit, dairy, meat ... you know, and liquids of course. lol. Your not alone. lol. your okay ]
Be thankful you have any rice. A lot of people are starving and can't even get to a bowl of rice. ]
okay.. well apparently you are ashamed of your heritage be it that it is probably azn or oriental... as long as you eat rice with other foods I don't see why it's a problem but if it is such a problem with you then just through away the bag and don't buy it.. spend it on american foods ]
you should try to eat something with the rice , like chicken and rice but have more chicken than rice and just make the rice portion smaller each day than the chicken and you should then try and eat other foods ]
ween yourself off of it first eat it with something else like chicken then start eating lunch at school too. ive never heard of a rile addiction lol ]
Put your rice in something that tastes terrible. That way you won't want to eat it. ]
Well hmmm.. Rice isn't really good for you at all.. i used to eat rice a whole lot.. to where i would eat it too fast and it feels like im gunna throw up??? the same thing with macaroni n cheese.. hahaha.. but rice will make you tubby.. i just ate a whole bunch of rice last night.. maybe if you think of like a huge fat hairy guy with boogers runnin out of his nose whenever you go to grab some more rice, maybe you'll take less?? hahaha. or i don't know.. but im trying to cut down on rice myself.. im philipino.. so obviously i love rice right?!?!?! well yeah.. if you really want to stay somewhat healthy, just take less portions.. or have 5 small meals everyday, instead of 3 big meals.. ie: breakfast, lunch, dinner.. try to broaden it out a little bit.. good luck!! ]

Try mixing good things with your rice. Like beans or vegetables. Keep changing the rice to vegetable ratio. Especially things you have to chew to get the best part from. Try different kinds of rice like brown or some grain based rice. It's probably because its easy to fix and give you energy. Try some fruit or something. ]
ok tell your mother or whomever does the shopping to NOT BUY RICE. go to a hypnotic person. IDK do soething, you have a rare and unordinary disroder child. ]
