luckycharm answered Monday November 29 2004, 5:01 pm: well if you have naturally sorta straight hair you probly dont have to do all the way to the roots, if your hair is curly, then try holding your hair up vertically in little bits. that way your straightener can get closer to the roots! hope this helps you! XlovelyladyO25 answered Saturday November 27 2004, 11:17 pm: after your shower then blow dry your hair straight and then take your straightener and straighten it, go all the way down without stopping. and make sure you hold the two sides of the strraightener down tight. try to get as close to your roots as possible, if there is still a crease try wetting it down a tiny bit by the roots (but not too much otherwise it will become un straightened)or spraying hairspray on your brush then combe through your hair with it, pulling your crease straight. hope i helped! if you ever need advice you can always drop a note in my inbox! rate me! <33 [ XlovelyladyO25's advice column | Ask XlovelyladyO25 A Question ]
alliecat07 answered Wednesday November 24 2004, 9:07 pm: try straightening your hair in thin layer. Also, when straightening the top lift the hair high off your head and straighten from the roots down to the ends. Be sure to be gentle with the ends!!! aNgeLxfOrEvEr answered Wednesday November 24 2004, 2:45 pm: When you straighten your hair, don't stop while your pulling it down your hair. That's what creates the dent. I get that all the time. If that does happen, just straighten that section again, but a little quicker that before. [ aNgeLxfOrEvEr's advice column | Ask aNgeLxfOrEvEr A Question ]
helping_you answered Wednesday November 24 2004, 1:59 pm: oh, I always get that. What I do is I blow dry my hair instead. and when I straighten it I do the ends. I hope I helped you. lol.

alex answered Tuesday November 23 2004, 9:28 pm: Just don't press so hard at the roots...and if you need to press hard at the roots, then just tilt your head sideways and that will get you closer to the root!! [ alex's advice column | Ask alex A Question ]

lxlWantiinY0Oh answered Tuesday November 23 2004, 8:08 pm: hey babe <3
neways this is what you should do get a friend or family member to first straighten your hair with a regular iron.. like wut yu use to iron clothes with. you should lay your head down on a towel all comb out and have a friend or somebody go over ur hair with a iron then flip the other way so that they can iron the back of your head too. then theres usually a dent because the iron is so hot so get a flat iron(straightening iron) and go over iit. me nd mii friends do this all the time & it comes out gr8t!

riley1124 answered Tuesday November 23 2004, 6:55 pm: That happens somtimes to me too you just have to hold the straightner less slanted and try not to hold on such an angle to cause the dent. The dent is usaully caused by the satrightner being held on there for a long time and is cuased form being held on an angle.
