omg no dont quit your sports if you love them.. the only reason you would have to quit is if you dont have enough time for everything else and if u dont like it anymore or if its not really important to you.. if you like it stay with it.. its always nice to have a good body lol.. and plus sports are really good for your health.. im a swimmer and i like love it so if you do quit something dont quit that because that gives your stomach, legs and arms a workout which not many sports do.

Well id love to meet a girl that loves sports as much as you do and still gets good grades, besides doing all those sports keep you healthy and help you in the future. They sound like your having fun so id keep on playing them until maybe you start to see your grades dropping because of your sports, but untill then id say have fun.

I play lots of sports too. The first question you should ask yourself, how high are your grades are they good, If your grades are high keep playing your sports because thats what i do. I play basketball, track (javelin), Hockey, Football, voleyball, baseball, and curling and i din't quit one of them so it depends on you what is your future and how old are you what you have planeed for the becoming. Hope i helped.....Poptart

okay i don't really play alot of different sports..but i had the same sort of problem... i had 5 soccer camps to go to every day i was in 6th grade... i practiced with the highschool for 2 camps 2 hours...then i went to 3 junior high camps that lasted for about 3 hours ... i was really tired at the end of the day but i still made sure all my home work was done... so basically just make sure you get all school work done.. and if you are okay with it just keep going with all of them (SOCCER ROX!)

Yea I am surprised you didn't say that you were too overloaded. I play a lot of sports too and people ask me how I do it. Truth is, I am an only child so my parents have a lot of time help me get to wherever i need to go. I think you should stick to your favorite sports or the ones you are best at. I quit figure skating, gymnastics, tennis and karate so I can focus on what I am best at. Then you can excel in that sport. For example, right now i only play basketballl, soccer, softball ,and dance. Now i have more time to practice just them , but i play the other ones in my spare time for fun!

Tinkerbelle answered Sunday November 21 2004, 10:55 pm:
If you love sports, don't get rid of them. Don't quit just because your friends tell you to, if you love sports that much you wouldn't do that. But if you feel overloaded and have too much to handle, I'd give up a few. I'd say two or three is a good number, like you said. Then you can join another club that you've wanted to try, or you can enjoy the time you have off. Either way, it should be about you, not about anyone else.

I'm exactly like you, and I play tons of sports, being a girl. I think you should continue playing sports as many as you want as long as you want. Do whatever makes you happy, not what makes your friends happy. Any other questions send one to my inbox.

sullivanstreet answered Friday November 19 2004, 9:18 pm:
I do think that you should quit some of the sports that you are involved in. I think that doing way to many sports is not that good. You are probably way to busy on the weekends with sports to hang out with friends and family, and it is really important to make time for that. If you do have time for them and you enjoy doing all of the sports you do then thats amazing, but i just think that if you have time for everything now then if you quit a couple of the sports that you favor less than the others then you would have lots more time to do other things. Just keep in mind to not quit the sports that you are really good at because you might get a scholarship to college by that! Good luck! Please rate me!
