i would say screen name if she is quiet. i'm very shy. i started talking to my boyfriend online before we started hanging out. i was more comfortable that way. i don't feel comfortable talking on the phone with a guy until i know him a little better.

awwwww...well in order to get one of them just start a convo about guitars and stuff like that and what songs you can play or w/e. Then when you/she has to leave, ask for her screen name AND her cell number. Thats what most people do. Hope i helped, and good luck! ;)

definately get her sn first because that way you can talk and she might not be as shy. talking over the internet is way easier then talking on the phone. The fact that you both play guitar is awesome because that will give you sumthing to talk about. After getting to know her better online, feel free to ask her for her number when the time is rite.

thats awesome that you have stuff in common if she's the shy type start off slow like just talking in school or where ever you see her the ask for her screen name and gradually work up to cell # you dont wanna scare her off.

If she's shy, then you should probably ask for her screenname first, it's less pressure for a shy girl.
You both play guitar, so start talking to her about that. Once she opens up a bit and she can consider you a friend, ask for her number. Since she's shy, it would help a lot if she could talk to you first, so dont just ask her out right away. Give her time and let her know she can trust you.

i dont know about your gf, but first when i waz at home my gf called me to say hi and thats it. lolz this was the only to words she said " hey Ryan" and then there was a puase lolz. I would go wit the sn becuase i dont think u want that puase on the phone lolz, hope i helped

in my opinion, the screen name. That way you can talk to her on IM, get to know her a bit more through that. Then eventually, it'll come up where she'll give you her cell #. Just be patient. But yea, the screen name would be a better choice.

screen name is easier sometimes for shy people, i guess it's because it provides a little bit of anonymity. i know i've said things over im that i've yet to say in person. once y'all get a bit more comfortable talking to her, then try getting her cell.
