I feel like none of my friends are honest with me anymore? Are they just saying stuff to get me to shut up? What can I do to get them to be honest?

It may be hard, but I think the best thing to do is to confront them. Ask them what's going on. They might not be being dishonest at all. Just talk to them and tell them how you feel. If they are your real friends they will be honest with you and try to help you feel better.

I like this guy. Spencer if you will. He's really nice, but when he's with his friends, taht make fun of me {cuz im korean if you will} he gets really mean and even makes up comments of his own. I'm pretty sure he likes me though...

And, how come elephants are gray?

I put that on here because this is a tough one. I myself happen to be in a similar situation and this is what I think.

Guys are people too, so they just want to fit in and be accepted like everyone else. Since this guy is nice to you when it's just you too, he probably doesn't hate you, or have anything against Koreans. It's just that when he gets around his guy friends, he wants to seem cool, so he goes along with what they're saying. So, I myself think that he probably DOES like you, he just wants to be accepted by his friends. So I say, go for it, and find out what this guy really thinks. Spend some more time with him 1-on-1 and see what happens. I hope everything works out for ya.

Oh, and about the elephant thing, its because once upon a time (in mexico) Charlie Brown's great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather spilled a large vat of gray paint and they all started rolling in it. How did they get out of Mexico, you ask? They migrated.

How come people assume humpty dumpty was an egg? How ignorant! It never states that he is an egg, he could've been anything with a shell but NOOOO they assume its an egg...

And now I ask you:
How come we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?
How come doctors call their jobs "practice"?
Why are the cabs from the Yellow Cab Company painted orange?
If "con" is the opposite of "pro", than is Congress the oppisite of Progress?
How does a shelf salesman, keep his store from looking empty?
How come you have to show your drivers liscence to buy alcohol, when you can't drink and drive?
And last, but certainly not least....How come Pluto has to sleep in a dog house, while Goofy, who is also a dog, gets to ride around in cars and hang out with Mickey and stuff? I mean, if that's not discrimination, then I don't know what is!


I think we should all ponder these things. They are worthy of much thought and consideration. Pluto needs YOU!

And as for the Humpty Dumpty thing...I have personally always thought that Humpty is a turtle with a very delicate shell....

Only answer this if you play an insturment please. I play the violin and after school I always have alot of homework and I can never get practicing in and I'm afraid the teacher thinks horribly of me, but I try on weekends to get some practicing done! Does anyone know a good technique to use so I CAN get some practicing done?

I play the violin too, and finding time to practice can be hard sometimes. The first thing you have to do is set aside 20-30 minutes a day to practice. This can be hard sometimes, what with everything else going on in your life, but it must be done. If possible, make it at the same time each night. Then when it’s time, drop what you’re doing and go practice. Then reward yourself, if you remember to practice, then you can watch some TV for a half hour, or go instant message your friends. But only do this AFTER you practice, not before, or you won’t want to stop. Oh, and if you miss a day every once in a while, don’t be too hard on yourself, just make sure you practice the next day. With a little patience, you can set up a schedule that allows you to practice without it seeming like a chore. Hope I helped!

i am the girl that said she was anarexic for six months and was 5'8 and 13 years old... i now weigh 120 pounds cuz i checked into a hospital and they made me gain ALOT of weight... is 120 to fat for a 5'8 13 yr old? my doctor said that that is how much im suppost to weigh since im so tall... but is that still to much?

No. 120 pounds is perfectly normal for a girl you're age and height.

Let me congratulate you for overcoming an eating disorder. You have to be a really strong person to overcome something that serious and I'm extremely happy for you.

You are the perfect size. Don't try to tell yourself otherwise.

Um...okay, I have to wear a helmet to ride on rollerblades, a skateboard, and a bicycle. It sucks. I was wondering if anybody knew of a way I could convince my mom to let me ride without a helmet, because mine is really big and it has this visor, and I don't really need one. If this is a lost cause, which I think it is to tell you the truth, is there any sort of helmet that actually looks okay? thanks in advance

First and foremost, you're mom is right. You absolutely need to wear a helmet. A friend of mine was riding a bike one day, when she flipped over the handle bars, hit her head, and was knowcked unconciouss. She hadn't wanted to wear a helmet, but the person she was riding with had made her. If she hadn't been wearing one, she could have died. Thankfully, she's okay now.

If you're still concerned about style, buy a different helmet. They make plenty that don't look bad. Just please, whatever you do, make sure you wear one. I don't want anything to happen to you.

If she's shy, then you should probably ask for her screenname first, it's less pressure for a shy girl.
You both play guitar, so start talking to her about that. Once she opens up a bit and she can consider you a friend, ask for her number. Since she's shy, it would help a lot if she could talk to you first, so dont just ask her out right away. Give her time and let her know she can trust you.

Take it from a person with experience (as you probably know I happen to be obsessed with a famous actor whose name shall not be mentioned here myself) My first question is why one Earth would you want the obsession to stop? I have a similar problem and I'm quite happy. My approach is to feed the obsession at every oppurtune moment. Don't stop the obsession. You'll miss it.

And isn't life much happier when you're constantly thinking about your obsession as opposed to all the bad stuff? I thought so.

One great alternative to TV is movies. Why don’t you go out to Blockbuster and pick up a couple of films to watch? My recommendations are:

See if you like any of them. Movies can be waaay better than TV.
