Is she really my friend?
Okay, theres this chickk that goes to my school. I was haveing such a good day cuz I got my hair cut and I got stuff to scrunch my hair, and I thought I looked soo nice. EVERYBODY was complimenting me, and I've never got any compliments from any of these, like my best friend amanda told me i looked pretty, and I've never been told that i was pretty before so it was really cool. But this one chick, shes supposed to be one of my best friends, says I look really bad, and I'm trying to looklike one of my other best friends named Justine, But i wasn't, because Justine doesn't even scrunch her hair! And my belt had broken that day and It wasn't cuz of me, it was because I wore it like everyday and it was fallen apart, it was my favorite belt, and I like put pins in it so it wouldn't break anymore, and then of course I said. "look at my belt" in front of her, and she said "That's what happens when your fat" and I'm like "Dude your mean" and shes like "Truth Hurts", I dunno, she was never mean before, Do you think she was just mad that everybody was complimenting me and not her??

If your "friend" is calling you fat... she's not a very good friend, is she?! When my friends get hair cuts, i don't go around calling them fat and ugly a copy cat and a good friend wouldn't do that either! I would just not let her ruin my day from showing off your awsome hair cut!

You say she's a good friend? If a friend thought you looked bad, I think she'd take a nicer approach at telling you. Like telling you that she liked your hair better the other way. A friend wouldn't just say you looked really bad unless something else was going on to make them say that. The way she stated her opinion leads me to think that she's either jealous, or was having a bad day and took it out on you. Try not to worry about it to much, if other people said you looked nice trust them.

First of all she can't be one of your best friends if she actually said that! She's so mean. Obviously she's jealous. She probably thinks you look better than her so she's trying to make you feel bad. Maybe she's used to having all the attention and then you get it and she's mad. It's obviously jealousy. Everyone can be a individual and have their own style. She just needs to stand her ground. If she's really that rude, she doesn't deserve to be your friend. It kind of reminds of the movie mean girls, but im not saying to ruin her life, but just leave her alone and don't talk to her anymore.

well for starters this "best friend" of urs seems to be ain a grouchy sort of mood! i think u should let her clam down just a bit! and if she keeps being rude to her and makin' u look bad inpublic then just take her off to the side and let her know how u feel! say Was it something i did? was something i said? and if she keeps being mean and nasty like that she is jealous of you and u should just ignore her if she is gonna be like that!!

I think you're exactly correct. I think she was just jealous that everyone was complimenting YOU and not HER! People who are like that tend to put others down, I guess it's their way of letting you know they want the attention everyone is giving YOU& not her. Don't pay any attention to it, she'll have to get over it eventually.
