backpack?
heya im going to be a freshmen this year so its my first time in a public school. i was wondering if most people use backpacks or binders or w.e cause i heard that most people dont and i dont want to look outta place.. any comments would be helpfull and i rate well

umm ppl use both binders for class n bookbags for goin home but i would use a book bag cuz in case it rains ur books wont get wet who cares if u look dorky u should be worrying bout others think u would rather have book bag then haev all my shyt wet or carrying it all so but up to u

I use both. However, at my school they don't issue lockers until the 13 and they tell us to use backpacks then because we can't put stuff down anywhere. After the 13th of September most people don't use backpacks, but some people still do, like me. Don't worry about looking out of place. No one judges you by what you use to carry your books.

You only use backpacks :) Binders are so heavy, not many people carry them. You can use folders though.

Hey! Well at my high school, SOME people use backpacks, but most people don't. And a lot of people bring there binders, I just have one, I put all my classes in one binder. And, you'll get a locker, so you can use that to put stuff in (like if you carry more than one binder and your books if you have any). Hope this helps and have fun in High school hun!

most public schools require a separete binder for each class. and you would normally use a backpack only to take your books to and from school. your teachers will probably tell you what supplies you need anyway.

haha... ighty well imma be a junior in highschool and ive been going to public school since pre-k and before that i went to a daycare haha! NOW... in highschool people DO TO use backpacks... Now i dont but thats because it hurts my bad shoulder! haha but most people just carry their stuff around but if your actually gunna do your work then u wanna carry a backpack so you dont look like a loser carring all your books in your hands! Hope i was somewhat of a help...

at my school a lot of kids have backpacks and a lot of kids just carry binders i really dont think it matters but if you have a lot of stuff to carry i think it would be easier to use a backpack but it all just depends on you its not like whichever one u pick you'll be the only one doing it and after the first day youll find out so you will know the second day what everyone has

Most people at my school use a side backpack(called a messenger bag) and they put their binders and folders and etc in that for their freshmen year. But if you are still wondering, you can ask the faculty the day before school starts - they'd be sure to have an idea. Also, don't they give you a supplies list? That should tell you. Most people here in California wear Jansport backpacks or something like that....but not roller backpacks, lol dont buy those...and they put their binders in them. =)...but if you heard most people dont then ask someone were you live because maybe its different here. <333

I bring a back pack to school and use a binder to put my stuff in, like i bring it to my classes, and i put my homework in my back pack to bring home... good luck!!

if you do go with a backpack, try a messengar bag. Its a certain style you can look up online, and Im sure once you see one you'll recognize it. With that you'll fit right in. Also, dont be afraid to see how your friends are doing it. Cause the thing is each school is a bit different so i cant give you advice word for word but I hope you do well. XoXo babe! Muahh

most people have backpacks and binders whatever you choose to use you will fit in most people just put their binder in the backpack until they go to their lockers

It kind if depends on which school you're going to. As long as you don't buy one of those backpacks on wheels, or some other huge backpack, you should be ok. Either carry a neat bunder, or a cute medium or small backpack, and you should look fine.

well at my highschool usually the freshmen and sophomores have more classes then the upperclassmen, so they'll carry a fairly small backpack with a few things. if you're only gonna be carrying like one big binder or just a few things, you don't really need a backpack. try not to buy a huge backpack, cuz they look...well bad especially if you're small.
