Q: Someone told me that dieting wont help you lose weight. IF i eat a salad for lunch everyday, will i lose weight? OR do i have to do other stuff too?

hi well i've been off and on diets but never really finished one. Always say that imma work out but never do... ok well about eating a salad everyday. eating a salad everyday can make you loose weight IF and ONLY if its just the salad. the dressing that everyone puts on it has sooo much fat you wouldnt believe it so u could try fat free dressing. I've never tried it but it could work! It is better if you work out but to your style if you want to loose that tummy its good to do leg throws and situps. Yah its a hassel to do believe me but it works! if its that arm fat then lift weights now not all crazy like but get like 8lb weights and do those for your arms for legs do lunges and scuwats..or how ever you spell it. for you but do leg lifts. those are simple at home exercises and 25 of each one is good to do. 15 to start! each night right before bed! REMEMBER RUNNING NOT ONLY HELPS YOU LOOSE WEIGHT BUT IT ALSO KEEPS YOU IN SHAPE AND HEALTHY. hope i helped you a lil.... Good luck!

Q: alright this girl lets say her name is sara has been my best friend for awhile,but lately she has another best friend. i am not mad about it beause every one can have more than one best friend, but the thing is that now we don't talk as much and she is always putting her other friend in her profiles and always hanging out with her but she never does any of that with me. i still consider her my friend but she is not my best friend. do you think i should tell her or just keep it to myself?

You know me and my best friend used to be unseprable but then a new friend of hers came into the picture. Took me away but still shes still my best friend and she still calls me her best friend.Even though we dont tlak as much. Also ive done the same thing as well with my friend kim and i feel bad but sometimes you just have more in common with another person i still love her to death and i still call her my best friend b/c ill always have her back. Q: ok i have a big problem. ok heres the scoop: i just moved to kentucky from chicago. its been real tough. i met my best friend and now we are always together, we are inseperable. but in the beginning of october her brother asked me out. he said that he really liked me and he told every1 i was the one for him and that we were going to run off and get married so now i am like in luv with this guy. he has the religion though of a penticostal and one of their beleifs is abstinence. and well i was raped when i was younger so technically i am not a virgin. his cousin has a really big crush on me though and when he found out that i was with his cousin he decided he was gonna make up a whole bunch of crap about me. so he told him that i screwed 20 guys and he broke up with me not even hearing what i had to say. now he wants nothing to do with me and i told his sister the reason i was not a virgin and now hes still like he cares but its not the same. he still wont even look at me. i dunno what i did wrong we were so happy. Ive been crying over him for about a month now and 3 days ago i started going out with this guy that is my other best friends boyfriends cousin. ( if that makes sense). and today he told me that he likes me a lot and that he loves me. he dosent understand how much weight that puts on my shoulder. i like him but i dont now if im using him to get my ex off of my mind. i want the relationship im in to last because i dont wanna fall apart again and have a breakdown but i really dont know what i should do. and i dont want to break his heart b/c i know hes 4 real. but how do i express what im fellin? please just tell me what you think i should do i need an opinion from someone who knows the basics. thankyou for reading please help me out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow sweety...sounds like you have a lot on your shoulders. You know your with this guy but it seems to me that your just with this guy cause you want someone to be with you....WHICH ISNT BAD dont get me wrong. But they way you talk about your ex its as if you really care bout this guy. If you really like someone and you can see a future with him fight for it. now dont go beggin or thing like just try to be friends with him again. Now if he totaly blows you off ...sweety let it go... cause what happened to you isnt your fault and its totaly wrong of what his cousin said about you. If your ex broke up with you and found out what had happened to you and still doesnt give you a second chance he isnt worth your time. Now with ur new guy.... hes told you he loves you ... but if you dont feel that way DONT SAY IT BACK....even if it hurts his feelings dont say it back trust me from personal experiance it hurts more to say it then it not work out and the person find out you never really meant it. If you have ne doub that you might be using this guy to get over you ex tell him that you like him but that you wanna get your thoughts in order first and that once you relieze what you want that hopefully he will still be there. and trust me if he cares enough about you to say that he loves you he should be there. Its better to get things straight now that its still fresh than when you've been with the guy for a while... trust me a big nasty tangle will develope if you do that and it will hurt both of yall!

Q: Okay Where do i start theres this guy(Johnta) who i have been goin off and on with for the past two years.. and recently i broke up with him because i started liking this guy(Steve) i met at the beginning of school, i mean yea me and Johnta went to the same school but he never walked me to class and whenever i did see him all he did was give me a handshake like he was ashamed of me or something, and people came up to me and was like "Johnta said yall dont go out" and we did.. so i decided that maybe i should get to know steve better and i did and he treats me with respect, he walks me to class, carries my bookbag, and just makes me smile whenever i am around him, But now Johnta and Steve dont like each other because of me the other day they were about to fight in school and they didnt but they were in each others face and the only thing that came out of johntas mouth was " Fuck You! You Fucked With My Heart!" and i felt really bad.. but steve really likes me and i can tell he acts like it but when me and johnta were goin out johnta acted like we didnt.. i just dont understand why ALL OF A SUDDEN johnta acts likes he cares.. I Cant break up with steve i've gotten to know him and I REALLY like him ALOT.. all my friends tell me to break up with steve but they just dont understand how i feel.. what should i do?

Dont convince yourself to like some one just because you hear they like you! its not health trust i just got out of that habit about a year ago. Its so much nicer when you actually have feelings for someone instead of tryin to develope some. Also the relationships never last and someone always ends up getting hurt. But when you really like someone because you and only you like him then it lasts. Even if that person doesnt like you back its so much nicer to know your not tryin to pull one over on your heart...

Q: I am a cutter and my friends all say i should stop and blah blah blah... BUT I DONT WANT TO!!! And i think someone told my Guidance Couselor and i dont know what to do...? Should i deny all or what?

Cutting is a serious thing. My friend use to be one and i when i talked to her and told her how much it hurt me to see her do that to herself she changed her ways. Im not one to judge you but your probably doing it cause you have alot of troubles in your life and pain but cut yourself so you have a way to pin point it out. like thats where my pain is coming from. I think that if your guidance counselor knows you should definatly get help from her cuase not only are you hurting yourself your hurting the people around you as well.If your counselor doesnt know i think you should get some assianstance with things going on in your life at the moment.
I hope i was some what of a help. good luck with everything and remember what you do affects others as well!

Q: Well im 16 and lately I have been feeling really lethargic and sad. I have cried pretty much every single day or I have been in a bad mood and didnt want to do anything. I can never fall asleep at night and when I wake up in the morning I am still tired and want to go back to bed. I took some tests online and one of them said that "The likelihood that you have major or clinical depression is high." and I took a few more and they pretty much said it was high. But I cant tell my mom or step dad about it because they will tell me im fine like they always do. They will say im just overreacting and its not a big deal. But I have been feeling like this for the past year or so, not constantly but it just gets bad sometimes. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do?

something must have caused this depression... and what you should do is find the source of it and try to get through it.You might not even relieze that its still affecting you. You could also be really stressed out thats causing you to be depressed. You should tell your parents one more time and if they stil dont listen to you go to the school nurse and tell her how you've been feeling. If you are in depression then it needs to be taken care of as soon as possible. Just dont let things stress you out as much.Good Luck and i hope you work everything out!

Now it depends where ur taking her cause if its just to a movie then it could just be as friends but if its out to dinner or out somewhere where its more of you and her time. Like to get to know each other then shes diggin you. Also you should drop hints that u like her and see how she responds... if she calls u and yall talk alot then you should just be like do you like me or is this just a friend thing? or like me n my boifriend did.. haha he was tellin me that he liked this one girl but he didnt wanna ask her if she liked him cause they were really good friends... well it ended up bein me who he was talkin about. Depends... i have uneven eyes... so i wear it under the eye so they look even. But you know what both ways look the same. Most ppl when they have big eyes put it on the inside so they look smaller but if they got small eyes then they put it on the outside sooo they appear bigger...

Q: Alright, so there was this boy that I was hanging out with like everyday for a few weeks(lets call him Matt)...I met him through a friend...he liked me and I liked him...problem was I had a boyfriend(lets call him James), but things weren't going well with him. Well anyways, according to all of Matt's friend, Matt really liked me. So my best friend (who is also a really close friend of Matt's) said that Matt wanted to go out with me, and wanted me to break up with my boyfriend so he could ask me out. Well, I wanted to go out with Matt, so I told James (my boyfriend of the time) that I wanted to cool things...and then I told Matt that me and James were in the process of breaking up. I thought Matt would like that, but instead he starting being all weird and almost acting like he was avoiding me. Then, the next day he doesn't even call (he would call me everyday). Then a few days later he did call and asked if I wanted to hang out. I said sure, and he said "Ok cool I'll call you back in a few minutes when I get to the park". He never called back and I haven't heard from him in like 1 1/2 weeks...so what is UP with this?! I don't get it! HELP! lol

i think that this matt kid is just playing with you! when you were with james he wanted you cause he couldnt have you but when u left james he was like oh shyt! and ran away cause didnt want nethin serious just someone to mess around with! dont be mad or nething.. just let it be just move on and find a guy that will treat you with the respect you desirve.GOOD LUCK

haha... ighty well imma be a junior in highschool and ive been going to public school since pre-k and before that i went to a daycare haha! NOW... in highschool people DO TO use backpacks... Now i dont but thats because it hurts my bad shoulder! haha but most people just carry their stuff around but if your actually gunna do your work then u wanna carry a backpack so you dont look like a loser carring all your books in your hands! OOO if the setting is beach the color theme should be a coral...like a pastel coral. if not a pink or a baby blue somethin that blends with the setting. Hope Your Wedding Is Incredible and that you and your fiance live a long life together!!!!

Q: okay so today i went to my bff's jackie (we'll call her) and we went to her nfs house jo (we'll call him) so jackie and i went to jos house and he had some friends over and the're all kinda into a bad crowd and i really don't fit in with them or do the stuff they do. well they had these bomb things they made and there all swearing and hidding and r all talkin that "omg the f-in cops r gonna come! lets go into the woods" and so then i was gettin all scared so i really wanted to leae but i didnt wanna go with out jackie so i was droping hints like crazy tell her that i wanted to go. but i knoe she wanted to stay with jo so i kinda held off for awhile.. but then when the threw the first explosive that was it i just left and so jackie came with me.. i really wanted to cry bcuz i knoe thats the kinda crowd i knoe im not supposed to b in and i don't knoe y i ever hung out with them in the first place. did i do the right thing? even though all of jos friends and prolly jackie think im a goodie goodie or a wimp! how to i ever talk to them again with out them making fun of me??

THEY SHOULDNT MAKE FUN OF YOU... U did the right thing. If your friend "jackie" makes fun of you then shes not a true friend... if you feel uncomfterable in a situation like that then you should leave. Never do nethin you dont wanna do! and you should of pulled your friend "jackie" aside and told her that you wanted to leave

This is a scary thing.. and a terrible position to be in considering that a diary is something very private and u violated that! But something wanted u to read her diary so you can find this information out and help her. Tell her parents a counseler at school someone in higher athority. she probably needs ur help or is too deep into wat shes doing that she doesnt relize how serious this situation is! Get some help.. this isnt a light subject she could die from this and i dont think you want to just see her suffer like that... get her some help! she might be mad at first but she'll thank you later... what you should do is tell her how good she looks and complement her alot but once in a while add like a comment like this "... "liza" why are you loosing soo much weight you've had this gorgeous body" ... get her some help please...

Q: My brother and father are moving down to North Carolina. They are leaving my mother and me here in New Hampshire. I'm going to college in NH and I'm living there. My boyfriend is going there too. My father and brother are going to build a house for my family to live in. They are expecting it to be before Christmas. I don't want to move at all cuz I don't want to leave the college I'll be going to, my friends, or my boyfriend. I'm 18 years old too. I don't have the money to have my own apartment or anything along those lines and I can see myself marrying my boyfriend. I don't think if my family moved to NC that I would be able to be away from them for that long. Please help what should I do?

talk about a plan on how to vist each other.Enless your willing to pay for an appartment down in NH, youve kinda got to follow the family. I know its hard moving to a totaly different state. The thing i relized is that i wasnt fallin for the guy i was fallin for what we had in the past.
Maybe by u kissing him it brought ur feelings that you had for him in the past and ur just fooling yourself with old feelings... Try to step away from all that.. you might end up hurt like the other times! If you cant just be friends with him then maybe you shouldnt be friends with him. Im just sayin that... if you know hes nothin but trouble why put yourself through the heartache!?!?!

WOW.. i have straight hair and i know what ur talkin about... you probably have long hair and the only bad thing about having long hair is that it gets really tangaly. If you cut it to a shorter length it wont get as tangeled. IF you dont want to cut it try changing your conditiner and start doin stuff with it like.. everyonce in a while put it in a bun or half up or french braid it or you can even curl it. Somethin to where it wont look all sloppy if u have it done it wont do that... haha my lil sister has the same probablem cause she has to have long hair... I CHOPED MINE OFF! haha

Q: I`m 15 in about a month or so and I think i`m an alchoulic. I want to quit at times, but then again i dont. I didn`t come on here to get lectured, just advice on what to do in this situation. Thanks.

WOW.... it sounds like ur really angry! you shouldnt let things like this bottle up ITS NOT GOOD... believe me! Well first of all you should tell your "friend" that she shouldnt treat u like crap! Also about her comin over tell your mom that you dont really like her cause shes really bossy and u dont like that bein a mom she'll understand.
