Someone told me that dieting wont help you lose weight. IF i eat a salad for lunch everyday, will i lose weight? OR do i have to do other stuff too?

If you ONLY eat salads for lunch and then go and eat like at mcdonalds for diner then of course it won't help you need to change you eating habits totally cause just eating one meal right won't help. so you can eat like a peice of fruit or something for breakfast, lunch a salad, and for diner something like fish or chicken and some vegies. And if you don't drink sodas and you meanly drink water that will help alot to. hope i helped if you need anything else leave me a questions. *STEPHANIE*

That will help but you need to exercise a lot! Try walking or jogging a lot! Do crunches and sit ups and do any other exercises! Hope I helped :)

Eating a salad everyday won't help you lose weight, You have to do exercise to lose weight. And not eating won't help you lose weight. Think of it like a car. If a car doesn't have gas then it doesn't work. If you dont't eat then you will eventually not work to.

You will lose weight off a diet thats not true who ever told you that. I mean it might not work for them because they didnt do it right and didnt try hard enough but you need to eat more then just a salad

It really depends on what you eat in your other daily basis meals. Just a salad for lunch everyday isn't going to cut it. Their's breakfast, dinner, no dessert what so ever, if it has fruits or anything with a good nutrition facts, then that'll be healthy also. No ice-cream though, that just kicks up the sugar and etc. And whoever told you dieting won't help you lose weight, there partially wrong and right...If you are under the influence of being 'fat' or obese, then might I sudjest you to exercise and eat less. Eat food with very low carbs and very low calories, that should help you if you keep it up for about a month...

Salad isn't always healthy. It depends on what you put on the salad and what kind of leaves there are. It's best to exercise along with eating healthy and dieting.

hi well i've been off and on diets but never really finished one. Always say that imma work out but never do... ok well about eating a salad everyday. eating a salad everyday can make you loose weight IF and ONLY if its just the salad. the dressing that everyone puts on it has sooo much fat you wouldnt believe it so u could try fat free dressing. I've never tried it but it could work! It is better if you work out but to your style if you want to loose that tummy its good to do leg throws and situps. Yah its a hassel to do believe me but it works! if its that arm fat then lift weights now not all crazy like but get like 8lb weights and do those for your arms for legs do lunges and scuwats..or how ever you spell it. for you but do leg lifts. those are simple at home exercises and 25 of each one is good to do. 15 to start! each night right before bed! REMEMBER RUNNING NOT ONLY HELPS YOU LOOSE WEIGHT BUT IT ALSO KEEPS YOU IN SHAPE AND HEALTHY. hope i helped you a lil.... Good luck!

It all depends on calorie intake and metabolism. Jogging for 30 minutes a day would help speed up your metabolism, which will make it so that you eat less in a day. If you eat a salad for lunch everyday, have a low-fat dressing, or that defeats the prupose. Just eat healthy and maybe exercise once or twice a week. It will help, I've lost 1 1/2 pounds in 3 days on my "plan". If you ask me, dancindanger questions on dieting and eating right, I could give you a ton of tips on losing weight. Hope I helped!

dieting dosent help all it dose is cause you to gain weight cuz it stores fat and aslo dont worrie about it cuz all you half to do is eat less and work out and you will loose weight but its not always good to loose tomuch weight because if you do you wont be able to walk or run or anytheing just talk to a physition and they will help

Of course dieting helps you lose weight!!! Maybe what they meant was that you also have to exercise. I mean, if you replace a fatty lunch with a salad everyday, then yeah, you'll probably still lose some weight, just maybe not as quickly as if you were exercising also. You could try doing about 100 crunches every other night, running, bicycling, stuff like that...Or if you're really determined to get in really good shape, you could sign up for ab labs and stuff at a local gym or for a yoga or kickboxing class somewhere. ....Oh, and another thing!: If you're gonna' do the salad thing for lunch everyday, either don't use dressing, or use fat-free dressing, cuz' that stuff is LOADED with fat and calories! It's just as bad as eating a thing of french fries.

well it would be unhealthy to just eat salad all the time but you would slowly lose weight, if you do other stufff like excercise then you'll lose more weight faster.
