Try using gel or molding wax at the ends of your hair that might help.
sita answered Saturday August 14 2004, 1:10 pm: WOW.. i have straight hair and i know what ur talkin about... you probably have long hair and the only bad thing about having long hair is that it gets really tangaly. If you cut it to a shorter length it wont get as tangeled. IF you dont want to cut it try changing your conditiner and start doin stuff with it like.. everyonce in a while put it in a bun or half up or french braid it or you can even curl it. Somethin to where it wont look all sloppy if u have it done it wont do that... haha my lil sister has the same probablem cause she has to have long hair... I CHOPED MINE OFF! haha [ sita's advice column | Ask sita A Question ]
JordieOp answered Saturday August 14 2004, 12:10 pm: Alright.. Well if you want straight hair for a long period of time.. I have some hair products you could use. After you take a shower or whatever.. A good mousse to use is Paul Mitchell Extra Body Sculpting Foam, just rub that all around your hair from roots to ends!..After that dry your hair with a blowdryer(it helps if you keep the hairdryer pointed down on ur hair to help get it straightened as you blow it dry.(to add some shine to your hair you could also use Paul Mitchell Gloss Drops)...anyways.. after drying it, straighten it with a straightener that can get VERY hot.. those work pretty good.. Hope I helped:-) [ JordieOp's advice column | Ask JordieOp A Question ]
ask_x_anything answered Saturday August 14 2004, 11:05 am: well you should be greatful! i have such curly frizzy hair and cant keep it down for 20 minutes!try hair products, are you using conditoner? cause that would help, another thing is the brush, a comb works better then anything else..and when your hair is dry use a hard brush. it should make it softer. i'm not really to sure because i dont have to deal with my hair down, but be funky, put it up in different ways- not just strait down or a plain pony tail! i like messy buns a lot..just because i'm not very tidy. try soemthing other then simple tho! xogiggles37xo answered Saturday August 14 2004, 10:29 am: ppl blow dry or straiten their hair. it cost money wether you do it at the saloon or buy a straitener or a hair dryer but i think the second choice is cheaper and straitening your hair is better at keeping it self strait then blow drying it. blow drying it sometimes it turns out puffy and then you got have all this other stuff to make it not puffy. lol. good luck and i gave you advice on what i know. {{jus so u kno}} if u need anything else email me at xogiggles37xo@hotmail.com and ill be happy to answer any questions you have. KateStar1011 answered Saturday August 14 2004, 8:33 am: Well...sometimes I can't keep my hair down for that reason, I have curly hair, and when I wear it curly, it tangles in minutes. But, there is this stuff called Redken Full Frame. It works great to give your hair body, and strength. It keeps your hair feeling smooth all the time, and it isn't that much. $, It's only about 15$ and it last for a long time, because it doesn't take much. Ususally you can get it at your local hair stylist. I hope I helped! Have a wonderful Day! [ KateStar1011's advice column | Ask KateStar1011 A Question ]
Blondie04 answered Saturday August 14 2004, 8:24 am: I used to have this problem myself. My hair, though is somewhat naturally curly and I have to keep it straight because I don't like the way it curls. Here's what I do: You will need a spray bottle like an empty washed out hair spray bottle or something that you can refill easily. Put water in the bottle. In the mornings when you get up, spray some of the water on your hair and take a thin toothed comb and comb it out, then use a brush on it. Then, just brush it out a couple or three more times throughout the day. Hope it works out!! [ Blondie04's advice column | Ask Blondie04 A Question ]
