i dont think you should use liquid unless your going all out and you really know how to use it. Its just a mess if you arent skilled in that area but for school and stuff i use normal black pencil eyeliner. As for a company im not really sure because my eyes arent that sensitive so basically ill just take any black pencil at savon. But i think the mac one is my favorite. It goes on easily and shows up well plus it stays on for a good amount of time (so i dont reapply every 3 blinks) Good luck im sure youll look hot.

ok people typically pick eyeliner based on theyre eye color. i have brown eyes n i wear both brown n black so it doesnt matter. get pencil to start out with cuz liquid isnt somethin taht u wanna start out with. when u pull down ur eyelid on the bottom, theres like a line of light colored skin that goes across the bottom of ur eyelid. thats where u wanna apply the eyelid.

for eyeliners: penicil- prestige $3
liquid- black radiance $6-7.. (its brown even tho the name is black)

hope this helped!
drop one in my inbox if u need nethin!!

I would suggest, since you're just now starting to use eyeliner, to start by using pencil, and getting used to eyeliner and such before upgrading to liquid. liquid takes skill and practice to use without it getting in your eye. as for where to put it; its really your own personal preference. more morbid type of people, wear excessive amounts of eyeliner, while more conservative types wear it only around the eyelids and such. experiment and find out what looks good on you and go for it.

i think tat the best eyeliner is the cheapest 1.. especially NYC.. tat eyeliner is really gud.. n i think pencil is better especially wen ur just getting started.. liquid eye liner is very messy.. n u put it on the line rite under ur eye.. just move it down with ur finger and put the eyeyliner on.. if not just ask ur mom or ur friends how to put it on.

pencil is a lot better....the liquid kind gets in your eye and doesnt feel to good..also dont use cheap kinds of make up, it will make your face most likey break out...and sense you have brown eyes, you should maybe use brown eye liner...it would look great

xcaseyx answered Thursday August 12 2004, 5:44 pm:
i like pencil just because its easier to use and it doesnt run. I use almay bright eyes. and what i do is i do it on my inner bottom lid [above the bottom eye lashes] you kinda have to pull your bottom lid, then for the top you just push up your eyelashes and apply around the inner top lid. Hope that helps. i dont like doing the regular top lid because i usually miss spots, so if your considering that and you miss spots blend it with a q-tip

well you can put it on your top eyelid or the bottom of your eye .. you put it on the very tip of the end .. And you should first start with pencil cuz it much easier then liquid! <3

I use pencil. I never tried liquid, but I think I might. Anyway, don't go out and buy the cheapest ones because they dont last long. Find out which ones glide on easily and don't run. Good eyeliner can start at about $6. I would use a dark brown for you.

When it comes to liquid oR pencil, it's just a peRsonal pRefeRence. HoweveR, if you ask... MOST people will tell you that pencil is a betteR choice. It's a gReat staRt foR a beginneR who is just getting used to it. If you mess up, pencil is A WHOLE LOT easieR to clean up and Redo than liquid would be. And if you plan on caRRying it aRound in a puRse oR pocket.. theRe's a chance that the liquid may Ruin. It's difficult wheRe to explain to put the eyelineR, but I will shoRe tRy!! FoR best Results, put it on the top and bottom lid, but it's NOT necessaRy. You apply it RIGHT wheRe youR lashes attach... along the rim, I suppose. So basiclly, when you close youR eye.. you shouldn't Really see any on youR eyelid... it's all on the Rim. Again, it IS difficult to explain, but pRactice makes peRfect! And don't give up too easy - it's always haRd the fiRst few times, but you'll get it. If you have a fRiend oR family membeR who can show you exactly what to do.. that'd definitely be best!! And now foR the pRoducts... peRsonally, I think the two best bRands of eyelineR out theRe aRe "MeRyl NoRman" and "Beautique". "MeRyl NoRman", which can only be puRchased at "The MeRyl NoRman Cosmetic Studios", is pRicey [typically $8.50 - $15.00], but it REALLY IS good stuff. It goes on wondeRfully, and stays on all day!!! On the otheR hand... I happen to think that "Beautique" is INCREDIBLE, howeveR, I've ONLY seen "Beautique" at "Sally's". And "Beautique" is only .99 cents. TRUST ME.. I would NEVER EVER EVER buy cRap make up!!! I get only the best, so please, please, please, please DON'T let this dollaR pRice thRow you off - you'd be cheating youRself out of the best pRoduct out theRe!! I'd PREFER "Beautique" out of ANY otheR bRand of eyelineR!! I could easily go out and buy a $15.00 pencil, but I'd RATHER get "Beautique"! "Beautique" glides on smoothly and REALLY LASTS ALLLLL DAY!!! I CAN NOT pRomote this item enough!! And if you still have doubts... foR only .99 cents.. it's woRth a shot!! Goodluck!! I hope I helped!! =D

You wear it on the bttom of your eye...dont put it under your whole eye but where your bottom eyelashes and your tear-duct are connected to! WEll if you just want regular black eye-liner you can get it from wal-mart it works good! And its cheap..but when you start wearing color on your eyes still go to wal-mart but get a darker color than a really pale color b/c the pale colors wont show up! And it really helps to know what color your eyes are so that we can tell you what color you should use...but of course you can ask anoter question...lol..Good luck

what i do is.... if you loook in a mirror.. you kindof have a little "shelf" above your eyelashjes on the bottom and then under them on the top... i put it on there... it takes some getting used to.. but you have to like pull it away from your eyeball and draw it on there.... i use esta lauder... but thats kindof expensive.. cover girl isnt to bad and the y are good too

liddylflirtx3 answered Thursday August 12 2004, 10:30 am:
ok - use pencil. one of my favorite brands is NYC, but covergirl solid works just as great! you apply it to the bottom part of your eye, up close to the lashes, in a line. the thickness of the line depends on how much of a dramatic effect you want. to make you eyes pop out, but look more natural, you can smudge the liner a little. adding liquid liner to the top part of your eye is pretty, but tends to make you eye look smaller .. good luck & hope i helped! =)

Pencil! (covergirl expert eyes) all you do is you put it on top of your bottom eyelid and you can also do it on the top too.

Well...you can put it on top of the eye lid, or you can put on the outside underneath, or in the inside. Get creative with it, that's when it looks the best*Wink*
I like to use pencil and so does a lot of my friends, but I do know a couple of people who can pull of liquid, it's just really hard to put on.
I like to use Clinque-Solid...Lancome'-Solid...or Cover Girl-Solid! :) I Hope I helped...Good lucK!<3

lorelei answered Thursday August 12 2004, 10:05 am:
First of all, you don't really need to use an expensive brand. NYC eyeliner or Wet 'N Wild is about a dollar and you can find it at Target or your local drug store.
I suggest using a pencil on your lower eyelid, below the lashes and a liquid on your upper lid.
The tip to keeping pencil eyeliner on all day is to hold the pencil tip over a match or lighter til it starts to melt. Give it a few seconds to cool. It should be cool enough to comfortably touch, but still kind of warm and soft.
Tug gently down on your lower eyelid, and apply the pencil to your lash line and stroke outward towards the edge of your eye until you've got the definition you want.
For your upper eyelid, close your eye and hold your eyelid slightly taut. (just use your finger to pull it a little to the side, so the eyeliner is easy to apply) Use a mirror and a very steady hand to apply the eyeliner RIGHT at the lash line.
Don't be too scared about applying eyeliner, because it shouldn't irritate your eyes too much if you mess up but still be a bit careful.
Good luck!

TucanFullOfHoles answered Thursday August 12 2004, 9:36 am:
i find liquid to be difficult to apply. sorry, i don't really know any brands. Do you have contacts? because if you do, hold your eyelid the same way you would to put in your contacts and do it right on the edge.
