i want to have a BIG 16th birthday
i didnt know what to put this under but whatever. i want to have a BIG 16th birthday ( im 15 ) my birthdays in july. What should i do? I dont want to have a pool party or anything. But can you give me some ideas..like where to go..if i should stay at home and invite people over or where to have it. ( if youve already had ur 16th birthday reply! ) but if you havent thats alright lol. thanks

Well...it all depends on your preferences.
For example, I just went to a movie and had dinner at a restaurant with my friends. I don't like planning big parties so I went the easy route. But, since you want a big party, that might not work.

I think that a luau would be lots of fun. It's a realy great theme for summer. It's also a very easy theme to play off of. You can have it in your backyard and havea barbeque. One of the sites above have more information on it.

you should have the party at night since its hot in the day. if you dont want to have a pool party then try going to a teen club. dont have money then have a dance party at your house sounds lame but trust me it always a good time!

well on my 16th i didnt do anything special... i just had sum friends over and we cut a cake... but there r a lotta things u can do... one of my friends rented a limo and we drove around DC... u could do that... but since ur only 16 u probably wouldnt be able to get into a lotta places... but u could always go to a resteraunt... another thing u could do is have it at a bowling alley...

For my 16th birthday i had 6 of my really good girlfriends come over, and we had a limo pick us up from my house that took us to an area about an hour away..and we went out to lunch and then went shopping. After that we went back to my house and i had all the rest of my friends come over and we had my party. It was a great time.

if i wur u, i wuld go out clubbin (thurs teen nites at sum places... u can get vip treatment if u call earlier too) then go midnite bowlin wit a bunch of friends... if u got the cash rent a limo to do the travelin but if not thurs always car poolin, hope ive helped ~nyladi~

if ur folks have CASH coming out their ears, rent out a conference room in a fancy hotel for a hotel and party all night long. If your really loaded, get all the geusts rooms.
if not, cake always sounds good at ur house.

a lot of ppl i know have their sweet sixteens at the party rooms in hotels and stuff like that - you can make your own food to make it cheaper and this way ppl can sit/eat/dance/talk, and you get to get dressed up a little bit!...also, you should do a candle ceremony where you dedicate each candle on the cake to a person or group of people that are special to you!! a lot of ppl do that nd it's really sweet...whatever you do, have fun and take pictures! <3

You can do anything you want! You could take a limo into your capital. (Mine's Boston) and go out to eat at your favorite rest. Or you could go to the beach, an amusement park, a water park, movies, your turning 16 so if your friends are all 16 already then you could go to a club. Most clubs around me are 16-21 for that age group. I don't know where you live so I might not eb any help. You could also have a sleep over at your house and when it gets really late and its dark and if its hot out still you can go swimming, but you said you didnt want to have a pool party. Hope I helped!

Hey. i say that if you live near a theme park...go there with a couple of friends if you dont wanna go broke..lol anyways yes if you live near a theme park why not try there...ot celebrate it in a near hotel so your parents dont have to do anything cleaning if you end up trashing the place. or maybe spending a day at the beach and it also depends on what kind og weather you have where you live too. if you want it to be not that special maybe the roller rink? and if you would like to invite ppl over and just chill it works too...just as long as you are having fun for your 16th birthday. I was 16 on thursday!! lol 4 mine durin the day i had my hair done and then like i invited some of my friends to go and watch a show and then we went and got some scary films and had loads of party food, also like there is some sites like where you can get party games aswell! I dont know what you guys in america do for your birthday so mine might sound kinda weird to ya bcoz im from england.. but av a gd time neway!

Well, I can't quite remember that far back, but for my 18th I invited a lot of my closest mates to a meal, but I'm guessing thats not your style. If you have a beach near you, have a beach party with BBQ, or maybe ice-skating if you have one near you. Things like that should be fun :)
