Hey I'd just like to say to everyone that when people are asking a serious question do you have too be so sarcastic and tell them to kill themselfs?? This is a help sight not somthing to be rude about. Is there anyway people who say things like that can be stoped?

I understand how you feel, but some people are just a**holes to begin with and don't care who they hurt, so long as they have a good laugh. People can be banned, but they just keep on coming back. Its the internet, technically you can only ban the screenname, not the person. I try to ignore it, but its hard, thats why you have to give the best advice that you can in order to make the person who got hurt, feel a little better about themselves. And going and telling the person that they're a dickf*ck only adds fuel to the fire. So, don't do that.

If you have a problem like this, then ask the site administrator if this person can be banned. If he is really being unnecesarily rude then you should have no problem getting him banned, but if he is just joking around and your taking him to seriously, then no, he probably wont get banned. You should be smart enough to not listen to assholes like that.

Unfortunately, that can't be stopped. And it really aggrivated me too. I asked a question before, and I got a "go drown yourself" answer. I think its ignorant, honestly. But there's nothing they can do really, since this is online. I guess all we can do is to ignore it.

Theres no way that people like this can be stopped... but what u can do is when u have a serious question instead of askin the whole pool ask colonists that dont give smart comments... and when u ask a serious make sure u dont mark the box at the top labeled "Present question to everyone if not answered in seven days" :)

I completely agree with you. I'm not sure if there is a way to stop them but I would think that moderators would do something about it. These people definitely should be banned though.

its true, some people are assholes and theres nothing you can do about it. most of them are trying to be funny, others just dont care about making other people feel bad. some of them arent really trying to hurt anyone and are just trying to get attention. so if anyone is hurt by what someone else says on this, ignore them. if they dont care and just want attention, then you shouldnt care what they say.
dont worry about them. it's usually obvious who gives good advice and whos tryin to be a dick, so dont worry about them
